Connexus Use Cases

Based on Connexus facility management platform’s capabilities, we have identified several situations where the software may fit specific maintenance and property-management requirements:

  1. Commercial Property Teams Managing Tenant Maintenance Requests

Property managers handling several buildings need to respond timely to every tenant maintenance request while also keeping track of work across their portfolio. Delays in resolving building issues can affect tenant satisfaction. Connexus software gives property teams the visibility into job status and maintenance activity across their properties. Its work request tracking is relevant where tenant-facing maintenance forms a regular part of property operations.

  1. Educational Campuses Coordinating Contractor Maintenance

The platform use useful for schools and universities that rely on contractors for facility work while internal teams are responsible for the safety and compliance of the site. It allows contractor inductions to be completed on site and records whether contractors have the required equipment, insurance, and skills for assigned work.

  1. Healthcare Facilities Maintaining Critical Assets

Healthcare practices face various maintenance risks as any equipment failure can affect patient care and facility safety. The system is suitable for this environment as it provides service histories to give facility managers context when reviewing the condition of equipment across healthcare sites. It helps maintenance teams identify important assets and schedule inspections before any problem interrupts service.

  1. Retail Groups That Need To Coordinate Maintenance Across Multiple Stores

Retail businesses with multiple locations handle facility issues without taking store managers away from customer-facing responsibilities. A maintenance request at one store may require attention from a technician while managers at other locations need visibility into their own outstanding jobs. Connexus provides live job updates and allows facility teams to track maintenance status across retail locations.

  1. Facility Service Providers Managing Client Portfolios

Connexus caters to service providers who are responsible for maintaining client properties often face the added challenge of handling work across accounts with different assets and maintenance requirements. Its facility management offering is specifically positioned around client asset portfolios and work requests. The platform supports providers that need to maintain client-facing maintenance operations while managing a growing number of properties.

Fast adaptability

Pros

Connexus made maintenance scheduling, asset management and contractor coordination very simple to handle from the start. Our technicians picked it up quickly and genuinely enjoy working with the mobile app. Another big plus is how much can be adjusted through settings which lets us shape the system around the workflows we actually want to use.

Cons

One thing that would help is the ability to set jobs across multiple days for occasional bigger tasks. We've found workarounds but that's really the only feedback I have.
