“Handles everything you need it to”
Pros
Having everything in one place is incredibly convenient and the software lets you handle so many different parts of your company's needs all within the same system.
Cons
Since the update, the back button no longer works the way it used to. Instead of returning to the previous page, it sends you all the way back to the start of your home page setup.

“dependable data storage facilities”
Pros
Across our organization, this has been a dependable platform for collecting and storing all the information different departments need in one place.
Cons
A downside of having so much customization is that the help resources don't really match how our company uses it. I wish the setup had included a help feature designed for our specific workflow.

“powerful event management tool”
Pros
Switching to this software ended up being a strong move for our organization. It helped us organize event management exactly the way we hoped when we started replacing our older system. On top of covering the tasks we were already handling in our previous event software, it also introduced newer, more creative workflows that helped us align our business more effectively with reporting and analytics that were clear and easy to interpret. The support team has been outstanding both during onboarding and afterward, with knowledgeable staff and product updates that delivered real value to our users, plus plenty of advance communication so we had time to prepare.
Cons
Around our team, we call Momentus a beast, not because it is unusually difficult to use but because it is a complex platform that needs more training than what we were used to internally. Over time, we have gotten better at setting expectations so new staff understand from the beginning what took us many hours of hands on use to learn. The more familiar someone becomes with their role, the more helpful Momentus feels in supporting that work. It is a massive system with a huge amount of information and functionality, much of which reflects years of customization and data collection on our side. Getting the most out of the software takes real effort but that is also what allows it to deliver results customized to your specific needs from such a broad set of capabilities.

“customizable features”
Pros
Customized features that we were able to modify to work they want we need have made the platform much more convenient to work with and the guidance from the support team has been very helpful whenever bugs come up.
Cons
Needing to move to the new UI after years of being aligned with the previous version and building training materials around it was frustrating. There are also still some bugs in the system that have made it harder to use.

“Integrations are a game changer”
Pros
Right away, the calendar became one of my favorite parts. There's a lot you can customize, from the colors to the specific information you want displayed and even the overall view. The integration tools are also a huge plus and having the inquiry form come directly into the system has been a game changer and saves a lot of time.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is a built in staffing scheduler so we wouldn't need to rely on a separate website for that.

“customizable platform”
Pros
It's hard to separate the company from the software because my opinion of both is pretty positive. I'm genuinely a fan of what they build. You can tell the newer ownership and leadership team is thinking in a more strategic, long term way. Some of the recent changes have been tough to work through but I still feel good about the direction the company is heading and it's clear there's real investment being made for the future. One thing I really appreciate is how customizable this software is. We've probably leaned into that flexibility more than a lot of venues. We put a lot of effort into pushing all of our financial data through the system and that has helped us quite a bit from both an event management and event analysis standpoint. I also like the ESC product a lot as it's a major step up from the old SOP. On top of that, my customer support rep has been excellent. She's always quick to respond and has been a huge help to our team.
Cons
The formal tech support experience through the Support Center can be inconsistent. Sometimes the help is excellent but other times response times make it feel like the team is stretched too thin. I've heard that may not be as much of an issue on the Elite platform. Just as important as support if not more, is the process of installing and onboarding new modules or software updates. We used to feel better about the four incremental upgrades each year but now it seems like every cycle introduces some kind of issue for end users and local admins. We've had especially serious problems with the upgrade to Momentus Pay 2 tier and at this point we're measuring repair time in months. My impression is that there are good people working on it but the technology is so complex and so tied into outside companies that getting to a final resolution has been difficult. Bringing new clients onto Momentus is also a major challenge and I usually tell peers to be careful because I do see that as one of the platform's weaker areas. The learning curve is very long even longer than even the most extended onboarding plan. Realistically, getting a new client fully up and running in Enterprise should be measured in years because that's how long it takes to truly master it. I also wish tools like Crystal Reports and advanced Word Merge documents were simplified enough that local admins could manage them without specialized training. Producing polished, client facing documents in Momentus has always been a weak point and usually requires a lot of time and money for a custom report. Modern software generally puts powerful tools in the hands of average users and while Momentus has done that well with Views and custom fields, it still hasn't fully gotten there when it comes to end user created client facing reports.

“simple to work with”
Pros
Whenever I need details for ticket sales, I just pull up the shows and get the information I need right away. The program is simple to work with and I really appreciate having the calendar available. It's useful being able to add all the show information there and then go back to follow up afterward.
Cons
I honestly don't have any major complaints. If I could adjust one thing, I'd reorganize some of the information so it matches the order I use it in, instead of having it spread across so many tabs but it's still simple enough to use.

“frustrating to update contracts”
Pros
Does a solid job for booking and tracking events. Without the issues below, this would easily feel like a 5 star product.
Cons
After a recent update, the contract headers no longer stay visible while scrolling so any formatting change means highlighting text and then going all the way back to the top to apply it. That becomes a real problem when there are multiple edits to make. It's frustrating that getting it restored to the way it worked before has to be treated like a feature request instead of a fix. Hopefully enough customers have asked for it that it gets moved up the priority list. I'm also not happy that WeTrack Risk appears on the front page when that service isn't even being used and requires a paid subscription. It was much more useful having contracting details on the overview tab and it felt more convenient too. Now it comes across like there's pressure to subscribe to something you may not want. Support also isn't what it used to be. Being funneled through the bot takes a lot of time when the help articles have already been exhausted or the issue is unusual. Thankfully someone on the support team shared an email address with me so I can skip that process since they know I only reach out when I truly can't find an answer or when something has to be handled on the back end.

“Organized event workflow”
Pros
Being able to combine event functions, work orders, sales and more in one place really helps. Momentus organizes the entire process and makes managing everything much more efficient.

Wish the booking calendar showed more details upfront, like move in days, the assigned spaces and possibly whose event it is.

“document archiving helps with event planning”
Pros
One thing that worked well with Momentus was the ability to upload documents and keep important information archived so different teams could access what they needed. That feature made it a very useful tool for running events successfully.
Cons
The user interface feels somewhat weak though. It often creates confusion around what users need to do and some parts are more complicated than they should be.

“Responsive support”
Pros
The platform has a clean, polished design and the layout is simple to navigate. Customer support is also fast when something needs attention. Overall, it does its job really well and works as a solid tool for its purpose.
Cons
That said, I'm not a fan of the latest UI update. A lot of the features I use most have been spread across multiple pages, like activities or moved into spots that feel much more tucked away than before. It makes the system feel less easy to use. Even though the refreshed look is visually appealing, it honestly didn't make the product any better.

“flexible platform”
Pros
It gives us a lot of flexibility and we've been able to make really good use of what it offers. When it's set up and used well, it becomes a very capable, versatile tool that can handle a wide range of needs.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the software takes time. With so many components and settings to configure some users may feel overwhelmed and lose interest early on.

“Helpful support team”
Pros
This is able to cover all of our business needs in one place, the customer support is excellent and the platform lets you build your own titles to fit the way you work.
Cons
It isn't especially user friendly at first but with some practice it becomes easier to find the information you need, particularly for users without an accounting background.

“reliably provides useful event details”
Pros
One thing that's been really helpful is how much useful information it gives for both upcoming and current events especially when customers call in with questions. Having those details readily available makes it much easier to respond accurately.
Cons
A frustrating part is having to manually scroll down the page just to reach the current day of the month. It would be much better if there were an option to turn on or off an auto scroll feature so that, after logging in, the site would automatically jump to the correct day. For example if today is the 16th, it should scroll straight to the 16th day of the month.

“all in one event management hub”
Pros
Momentus has become the platform we rely on for just about everything related to event and venue management. It really works as an all in one system, handling event planning, CRM, payments, reporting and a lot more. For our team, it serves as the single source of truth. Whether we're organizing events, managing venue details or making bigger strategic decisions, we count on the strong analytics in this to guide us. When the information going in is solid, the data coming out is just as valuable.
Cons
One of the biggest strengths of Momentus Technologies can also be a challenge at times: how flexible and customizable it is. When there's a solid strategy and proper governance behind it, that level of adaptability turns into a real advantage, giving teams the ability to shape the platform around their specific needs.
