“Messy database”
Pros
One thing this does well is keep the feature set fairly short which avoids loading the software with a bunch of unnecessary extras. The list of applications is not overly broad which helps keep it from feeling super complicated.
Cons
That said, customizing it is extremely difficult. The moment you try to change something to your specifications the database starts to feels very disorganized and it is hard to make sense of how the tables are put together. On top of that, converting maintenance requests into work orders is not smooth and there does not seem to be a proper database relationship connecting those two reports.

“responsive support every time”
Pros
Whenever a question comes up, the customer support team is incredibly helpful. They get back to you quickly, answer things clearly and are always willing to help when there's an issue.
Cons
The mobile app could be more user friendly and I'd really like it to show all open work orders regardless of how old they are. Right now, we have to update the due date on some work orders every month so the due date has basically stopped being useful for us.

“helpful scheduling”
Pros
It's really useful being able to look ahead and see what work is coming up and I also appreciate having the option to change the priority when needed.
Cons
I'm still figuring out how to unlock or use some of the available fields so I'm learning the system as I go.

“reliable work order tools”
Pros
After using mPulse for 9 years, I'm very satisfied with the work order tools, scheduled work orders, capital equipment tracking and the parts inventory module.

I'm not too pleased with the way the reporting format is laid out.

“quick access to every section”
Pros
Getting to all the sections and pages I need in the software is very easy which makes it basically effortless to find what I'm looking for and keep moving.
Cons
While navigating to the pages you need is really easy, moving around in those pages and scrolling down with your mouse can feel a bit awkward at times.

“Easy to use search feature”
Pros
The system is fairly customizable, the search function works well and the support team has been helpful whenever needed.
Cons
One issue is that front end users who submit work orders still can't view all comments or get email updates when a comment is added or the work order status changes. That feature was promised to us and although it's being looked into, it still hasn't been resolved.

“detailed equipment tracking”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how much information it can hold for every piece of equipment we maintain. Having that level of detail in one place is really valuable for our work.
Cons
Getting truly comfortable with the system takes quite a bit of training. It seems like a better fit for a company that has someone specifically assigned to manage and work in the system.

“Takes a while to load”
Pros
It can be pretty user friendly once everything is set up the right way.
Cons
Sometimes it can run very slowly and takes quite a while to load. It also doesn't always save the changes you make which gets frustrating. The process would be a lot better if you didn't have to use the blue checkmark to confirm every update. Having to keep clicking the pencil icons just to edit fields over and over makes everything take longer than it should and the work would go much faster without all those extra steps.

“great fit for our needs”
Pros
Lets us customize the system to match what our team actually wants and needs which has been a big plus.

“simple to navigate for new users”
Pros
Being new to the company and only a couple of months into using it, I've really appreciated how easy it is to get around the system especially when I need to look up an inventory part. That has been a huge help while I'm still learning everything.
Cons
There do seem to be a fair number of glitches at the moment although I'm optimistic they'll be fixed.

“Outdated design”
Pros
Flexibility is a big plus and it can be customized well to fit both the company's requirements and what end users need.
Cons
Interface feels pretty outdated overall. On top of that, the work order layout, workflow and printable version really fall short as its very frustrating to use. The report widgets also don't offer much room for customization so what you can view is quite limited.

“powerful maintenance management”
Pros
Getting started is pretty simple overall even though it takes a little time to really learn your way around the system. Once the navigation clicks, you can really see how capable MPulse is when it comes to maintaining and managing all of your equipment.
Cons
At the beginning, it was somewhat difficult to fully understand but with daily use it becomes much clearer and that's when you start to appreciate how powerful MPulse really is.
