PFIM CMMS Features
Fault Report
PFIM CMMS software provides a dedicated service desk for logging and managing fault reports. Users can capture detailed information regarding equipment breakdowns or service requests, which then triggers the necessary maintenance workflows. This feature ensures that all reported issues are documented, tracked, and resolved to minimize operational downtime.
Workload Scheduling
The workload scheduling module allows users to replace manual whiteboards with a digital interface for managing technicians and subcontractors. This feature supports drag-and-drop functionality and provides multiple views to identify double bookings or overtime. It ensures that resources are deployed efficiently across different regions, dates, and specific customer jobs.
Serial Number Tracking
This feature enables users to store and manage unique information for specific pieces of equipment using serial or asset number tags. The software links job cards and service history directly to these tags, providing a complete record of procurement, installation, and maintenance. It is a fundamental element for accurate asset history.
Job Card
The platform integrates a robust job card and costing system that automatically generates work orders for scheduled or reactive maintenance. Users can link job cards to serial numbers and track all associated costs, including time, materials, and travel expenses. This ensures transparency in maintenance spending and simplifies technician task management.
Predictive Maintenance
PFIM CMMS enables users to leverage data from Internet of Things (IoT) devices to monitor equipment performance in real time. The software analyzes metrics like temperature or vibration to generate automated alerts and maintenance tasks when specific thresholds are violated. This proactive approach helps prevent costly breakdowns before they occur.

“reliable communication tools”
Pros
Over the past five years, we've been using PFIM's customized web based service/CRM and it has made a big difference for us. With a database of more than 20,000 contacts that need regular communication, managing that manually used to feel overwhelming. It gave us the flexibility to send personalized, real time automated messages by email and SMS directly from the web interface. That user friendly setup has saved us a lot of time compared with the older, more labor intensive ways we used to communicate with our distributors. It also helps that communication records are stored on each individual profile so any staff member can pull them up at any time and keep follow up communication accurate and consistent.
Cons
From a management standpoint, I'd still like to see the reporting side of the communications log improved since it currently isn't available through the web interface. As a multi level direct selling company, being able to provide distributors with accurate, timely and transparent information is absolutely essential. The real time processing of invoices, group sales calculations and similar functions gives distributors a clear view of their individual business status. Without this customized version, that level of visibility simply wouldn't have been possible.
