“venue integrations simplify planning”
Pros
A lot of the venues we work with already integrate with this platform which takes a ton of pressure off our planning process. It makes it much easier to create floor plans that both the venue team and the client can view and work from.
Cons
Seating assignments can be really frustrating when you're not fully familiar with the system. That part could be a lot smoother and having a drag and drop option from the guest list would make a big difference.

“flexible layouts that fit perfectly”
Pros
Designing layouts feels flexible and getting those layouts uploaded into my directory is very simple.
Cons
There honestly isn't much to dislike here. The website setup is fairly basic so if you're looking for a lot of extra bells and whistles or flashy features, this probably won't be the right fit. That said, when I'm working on a room layout, I don't need anything overly fancy. This software gives me exactly what I need and nothing unnecessary.

“Made my wedding layout came to life”
Pros
Seeing my wedding layout brought to life was really cool and I loved being able to move things around and adjust it myself. The program was shared with me by my wedding party rentals vendor so I could set up our wedding floor plan.
Cons
Loved using it, dont have anything bad to say.

“Very helpful support team”
Pros
The software is easy to use, well organized and the support team is very helpful.
Cons
One downside is that favorites for furniture can no longer be saved. The furniture search feature is also a bit frustrating.

“handy floorplans”
Pros
Putting together a floorplan feels very convenient because moving items around is simple and quick. It's also really helpful that guest lists can be imported directly from Excel.
Cons
Doesnt have an option to add pens and notepads to the table and I also couldn't find a table option without a tablecloth. It would be useful if items you select, like a chair, could have their color adjusted. The item library also feels limited since the previews are very small and there isn't a larger view or a way to save the items you want.

“interactive 3D catalogues”
Pros
Being able to build a personalized virtual catalogue for each client has been a big advantage especially since I can share it with them and they can join in and participate in real time. The live chat is also incredibly helpful and the 3D features have really taken the experience to another level for us.
Cons
Ive noticed an issue come up whenever I send a client a link and want them to open a specific meeting setup. It sends them to the main landing page instead.

“Clear visuals of your event space”
Pros
Navigating feels really easy. One thing I especially appreciate is being able to build multiple floor plans under a single event. That gives our clients a clear visual of which event space would work best for what they're planning. The 3D feature is another favorite because it gives clients a fun, realistic preview of how their event could look on the actual day.
Cons
Don't have any complaints right now. We've been using this tool for around a year and both I and my colleagues really enjoy working with it. It has made floor plan creation incredibly simple for us especially compared with the paper based system we used before.

“user friendly 3D tours”
Pros
Getting started feels pretty easy and the software is user friendly overall. Bringing new team members on board is simple and it is also easy to share with clients who have never worked with the program before and still have them successfully create floor plans. On our end, the 3D touring feature is absolutely essential for presenting and showcasing our property.
Cons
Since I am frequently away from my desk, logging in from my phone and pulling up PDFs can be more difficult than it should be. I would really appreciate a mobile app even if it were just for viewing floor plans or making small edits while on the go. The upfront pricing can also make it tougher for smaller or newer companies to take full advantage of everything it offers. More payment or pricing options for Canadian companies would definitely be a welcome addition.

“fast layout planning”
Pros
Putting furniture and other assets into a space is simple which makes creating multiple layout options incredibly fast.
Cons
There's a cap on how many custom furniture assets you can use unless you move to a more expensive subscription. That can feel restrictive for some larger spaces.

“event maps that save time”
Pros
Creating an event map in Prismm makes room setup really simple. I can share it with my team and they're usually able to get everything in place with very few questions.
Cons
Something I'd still like to see is the option to add outlets and other A/V icons directly to the maps.

“great floor plan visualization”
Pros
Setting up multiple floor plans is really easy thanks to the drag and drop tools. As details change, you can clearly see how the event will flow for guests which makes planning much more practical. It also gives customers a realistic view of how their setup will look and how people will move around during the party.
Cons
The monthly subscription can feel pretty expensive if you only run around five events a year. It's an excellent product but the cost is harder to justify unless you're using it for a large number of events.

“Wide variety of creative options”
Pros
Being able to show clients how a room will actually look with my equipment in it is a huge plus. This product gives me a lot of creative options and there are so many possibilities with what it can do.
Cons
Since it's still fairly new to this industry, it feels like there's room to grow. I'm hoping the team continues expanding the product inventory so I can present even more accurate options to my clients.

“easy to make printable plans”
Pros
I feel like being able to save drafts and reusable templates for floor plans and seating layouts was really helpful. I could also print the floor plans or download them as a PDF whenever I needed to.
Cons
One big gap is that floor plans can't be shared and edited collaboratively inside the platform. Right now, I have to create a floor plan, export it as a PDF, send it to a colleague, wait for feedback and then return to the software to make changes. It would be much better if I could share plans directly in the app or let a colleague edit them there as well.

“I rely on it everyday”
Pros
Creating to scale event floor plans with this feels very easy because the platform uses a true what you see is what you get approach. I work in events and rely on it every day to build floor plans and diagrams for clients, coworkers and vendors. It's simple to navigate, includes a strong library of standard event items like tables, chairs and other furniture and makes exporting my layouts quick and convenient.
Cons
What bothers me most is that the program logs out a little too quickly. If I step away to answer a question or take a phone call, I often come back and have to sign in again which gets frustrating.

“reliable floorplans for events”
Pros
Has become one of the most valuable tools my company uses. It helps me create accurate floorplans for clients and I can also share them with vendors in real time. Being able to see that everything fits together properly is essential to the success of every event I plan.
Cons
My only frustration with the software is that if I'm not on the list page and stay idle for a while, it logs me out and I have to sign in again.
