Handling safety reporting is simple and the available safety options cover what's needed well. That helps keep everything compliant without much trouble.

Would love it if report customization were available. Adding single sign on would also be a valuable improvement from a security standpoint.

Using this software feels very easy and moving through both the app and the website is direct and simple.

Everything is handled right from your phone so it's very user friendly and eliminates the need for paperwork.

It doesn't cover every trade yet. When I'm working on site and need something for fire sprinklers, there isn't an option for that trade and the same goes for stone workers who install stone on exterior walls.

I haven't run into any problems with the software. Even when updates are rolled out, everything continues to work properly which hasn't been my experience with a lot of other companies.

Really easy to work with and I especially appreciate being able to take photos, tag specific addresses and identify the right trade partners.

One thing that worries me is not knowing whether the trade partner is actually receiving the email when I submit a hazard. I wish there were some way to confirm delivery. It would also help to add email addresses on the spot when someone isn't already listed. I'm also unsure whether the way I'm entering inspections is the correct method and whether OSHA would be satisfied with it.

Everything about it has been very good and the app is easy to use. The step by step setup process is clear and simple as well.

Figuring out how this platform functions didnt take long because its really simple to work with. One thing I've noticed though, is that the development team updates the app's interface with very little notice so small parts of it seem to change from month to month.

Cons

The weekly reminders feel excessive especially the "Hey! It's Wednesday! Have you checked your Safesite?" type of notifications. I complete my required inspections on Monday so it would make more sense for the system to check report status before sending unnecessary alerts to my phone. It would also be helpful if safety resources, like internal company policies or OSHA tabbed pages, were available on a question by question basis during targeted inspections for quick reference.

On our jobsites, I rely on the app every week to complete safety inspections and it has been incredibly convenient. It lets me handle inspections in real time, record positive jobsite observations and document risks that need to be addressed right away. Compared with the pen and paper safety forms we used in the past, this app is far more practical and efficient for our safety program. It has also played a big part in building a stronger culture of safety across our organization and among our trade partners which is especially valuable in the home building industry where this can sometimes be overlooked.

Cons

Earlier versions of the app did have a few functionality problems and moving through risk and hazard observations felt repetitive and somewhat confusing. Since then the team have released several updates over the past year and those issues have been resolved. The current version feels much more polished, with smoother functionality and a better overall layout.

Having all of our safety documentation right at my fingertips has been a huge plus. I no longer have to wonder whether the front line foremen are actually completing their inspections and there's no more digging through file folders trying to track down records. Everything is available on my phone and laptop which I absolutely love.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues. Our Safesite trainer did an amazing job walking me through everything.

Easy to navigate and training others to use it is very simple.

Relies heavily on internet access. On some of our job sites, the connection is very weak or completely unavailable and in those situations the app was useless.

Something that still feels unclear is the grading system because the scores do not seem to follow any obvious metric. As the Nashville safety director, I get a lot of questions from construction managers asking why their community has a "D" rating when they are consistently completing their weekly inspections. I also regularly see a community get placed into the Nashville division. It is not difficult to remove but having to fix it every week does become frustrating.
