“reliable support team”
Pros
Having responsive support for the whole team has been a huge plus. They're always available and quick to respond. There's definitely a learning curve because of how many tools are built in but once you get comfortable applying them to your own workflow, the platform becomes incredibly valuable.
Cons
We do run into occasional syncing problems between mobile devices which can be frustrating. A few features we'd consider standard still aren't included and updates to add them tend to come out very slowly.

“extremely flexible hierarchy model”
Pros
With our setup, we needed a project management platform that could handle a pretty complicated property structure: a corporate office managing multiple sites, with several buildings under each one. After looking at a number of tools, this platform really separated itself because of how flexible its hierarchy model is. It lets us organize, manage and report on the full portfolio in a way that actually makes sense for our business, while still keeping track of milestones down at the individual building level. Another huge benefit has been how much of the platform we can configure on our own without constantly depending on vendor support. That freedom has made it possible to shape workflows, forms and reports around the way we actually operate instead of having to adjust our processes to fit the software. We've also been able to connect it with several of our other business systems which has helped create a much more unified and efficient operation overall. The longer we use it, the more features and functionality we uncover that improve efficiency and give us better visibility across projects. And honestly, the customer support deserves special mention. Their team has played a major role in helping us succeed with the platform. I can almost always get a same day meeting with our customer service rep whenever I need help understanding a feature, troubleshooting something or figuring out how to customize a workflow we want to try. They don't just answer the immediate question either, they really take time to understand what we're trying to accomplish and then advise us on the best way to set the platform up for our needs. That kind of responsiveness and expertise has made it much easier to adopt new features and get real value from the system. It's not often you come across software with a support team that is this knowledgeable, available and genuinely committed to customer success. From our perspective, customer service is absolutely 5 stars.
Cons
Because the platform is so customizable, getting started was a little harder than it needed to be since there wasn't much online training available to walk new users through navigation, pages and the different options. I'd really like to see some general how to videos covering Scoop's features so I don't have to lean on our rep quite so often even though he's always incredibly helpful and never makes it feel like a bother.

“Easy to modify”
Pros
One of the best parts is how we can modify this to fit our company's current needs while also setting it up with future growth in mind.
Cons
At the beginning the complexity made it hard to understand how to build conditions and rules but with time it's starting to feel a bit more manageable.

“all in one powerhouse”
Pros
Everything being centralized in this app has made project management much more manageable for our team. We rely on it to keep sales, design and operations aligned and it helps make sure nothing gets missed along the way. The automated workflows, conditional fields and integrations with our CRM and design software have been incredibly valuable. It takes away a lot of the guesswork, cuts down on mistakes and gives our operations team full visibility into what's happening. Honestly, without it, I don't think we'd be able to handle many of the customizations we offer today.
Cons
The hardest part really isn't the platform itself, it's making sure everyone uses it the same way every time. Like any system, it performs best when the whole team sticks to the process. Once that happens, everything runs flawlessly.

“Powerful solar project management”
Pros
Managing complex commercial solar projects feels much more organized with Scoop from start to finish. We handle everything in one place, from early design and permitting to construction and even ongoing O&M. It's flexible enough to work across large rooftop installations, carports and multi year new construction solar jobs which helps us standardize workflows, stay on top of deadlines and keep every team aligned.
Cons
Because the platform can do so much it takes a bit of time upfront to figure out the best way to set up dashboards and reports for each team. After that initial configuration though, it becomes a very powerful system that's easy for everyone to use.

“custom workflows”
Pros
There being a clear visual way to track projects through each stage of the workflow, gather field data and keep project documents in one place has been a big win for our team. I especially appreciate how much we can customize the way project details appear at different workflow stages so each team member sees the information that matters most to them. Setting up different notification schemes, adding conditional action items and presenting everything in a color coded organized dashboard has made managing our solar projects much more efficient.
Cons
Its inventory system didn't feel powerful enough for us once our operation grew across multiple departments.

“system offers a lot of flexibility”
Pros
One thing that's been especially valuable is the ongoing support. The system offers a lot of flexibility and having help available to navigate the different options makes a real difference.
Cons
A limitation for us is that the calendar won't let us add items unless they're tied to a specific project. Because of that, we can't enter holiday dates for individual crew members there and have to keep track of those separately.

“well organized layout”
Pros
Really simple to use and has been excellent for keeping our project managers organized. We've run into very few bugs or issues and the customer support and onboarding have both been outstanding. The customization options are something we really appreciate as well.
Cons
We honestly haven't had any real problems so there isn't anything specific we like the least. Everything has been excellent for us.

“Takes up too much time and effort”
Pros
At first glance, the interface looked like it would be the biggest highlight but that wasn't really the case. On the plus side their customer service has been excellent and they offer a strong amount of support for your team.
Cons
Getting it set up takes a huge amount of time and resources. Because everything is so customizable there really isn't an out of the box option that lets you get up and running quickly. It took our team months to get things close to where we wanted and even then we kept making changes. On top of that just about everything comes with an extra cost.
