“valuable predictive maintenance insights”
Pros
In industries like steel where margins are tight and resources are stretched, this feels like an important tool for the future. A predictive application like this can play a big role in helping the industry succeed because it gives us more confidence in the condition of our assets. When it's used alongside other condition monitoring systems, it helps us carry out maintenance based on the actual state of equipment instead of guesswork. That should bring real gains in asset availability and help reduce unplanned outages.
Cons
The user interface feels a little laggy at the moment. It could be much better if getting to an issue and receiving feedback was more organized and polished. The notification system also needs more development so it can alert by exception and it would help to have additional options for how those notifications are delivered.

“powerful dashboards”
Pros
We've gotten the most value from this, along with the thresholds and prognostics features, plus the trend and anomaly detection tools. Those capabilities have been especially effective for us.
Cons
One limitation is the 120 hour learning period the system requires for every asset that gets onboarded. During that time, it establishes what it considers normal operating levels, such as vibration and current, for each individual asset. The problem is that if an asset is already in poor condition when the system is installed, the platform can end up learning that faulty state as the normal condition.
