“Responsive team that follows through”
Pros
One thing that really stood out was how quickly the team reacted whenever I reported a problem. Even if I had to leave a message, they still got back to me fast and kept working on it until everything was fully resolved.
Cons
A few times the product had issues with an unstable internet connection which caused the system to not function properly.

“helpful guidance”
Pros
I really appreciate and want to give a shoutout to the support team. They followed up quickly after I sent in a feature request and also explained how I could handle that need right away without waiting for a product update.
Cons
Some advanced features come with an extra monthly or yearly charge even though the cost is fairly small. Before buying, I also didn't fully understand which minor system add ons we would need to keep things running during an internet outage.

“excellent resident interface and video”
Pros
The management and resident interface has been really enjoyable to use. The facial recognition and video capabilities are definite bonuses and add a lot of value.
Cons
Compared with ButterflyMX it seems to go offline more often and needs to be reset more frequently. I'm not sure what's causing it but I'd really like to see that resolved.

“constant bugs”
Pros
At first glance, the outdoor panel seems decent enough and fairly simple to use. Being able to add, remove and edit users, along with assigning different access points, is useful. Still, these are pretty standard features that plenty of other products already offer.
Cons
In actual use the system has been very unreliable and has to be reset far too often. If we get two months without access issues at the building or other entry points, that feels unusually lucky. On top of that, customer service has been extremely inefficient and inconsiderate. We spent months reporting the repeated resets until the system failed completely and then it still took another month to get the issue resolved. For a building entry system, that is neither safe nor acceptable.

“Makes it easy to manage building access”
Pros
Managing building access has been very easy, from adding extra keys to getting into the building with facial recognition. Support was also really helpful when I needed to update my name in the app.
Cons
Right now, it looks like the door can only be opened through a phone call. I'd rather have the option to unlock it without needing to answer the call especially when I'm at work.

“handy guest management app”
Pros
Getting into the office is very convenient with this. When the face recognition works, it's really useful and being able to use the phone app is a big plus. I can also add a temporary visitor code whenever needed which helps a lot.
Cons
It does go offline at times and we still haven't been able to figure out how to reset it remotely. On top of that, it's frustrating that it seems to go offline so often.

“Community pin sharing works brilliantly”
Pros
Creating and sharing PINs with everyone in the community isnt hard and the front desk call out feature works really well overall.
Cons
At our property, we have a couple of access control boxes and they do freeze from time to time and reboot pretty often.

“mobile first access that delivers”
Pros
It comes across more like a modern tech platform than a typical access control system. It's mobile first, has a clean interface and feels user friendly for both admins and everyday users. The touchless entry is quick and dependable which really sets it apart. It doesn't feel like a gimmick either, it genuinely improves traffic flow, security and overall convenience.
Cons
Every now and then, the system can go offline and needs a reboot. When that happens, it usually takes a quick phone call to figure out the issue and it gets resolved pretty fast.

“Admin side is easy to use”
Pros
This app has been a game changer for us. SwiftReader makes door access feel effortless and the admin side is surprisingly easy to use. I was also genuinely impressed by how strong their customer support team is. It honestly feels like they never sleep because someone is always available whenever questions come up.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints. It stands out as the clear leader compared to the competition. If you speak with other customers, you'll probably hear the same kind of feedback.

“reliable features”
Pros
Getting started has been easy. We can set up passcodes for vendors, visitors and others which has been really convenient. It's also helpful that the system sends a notification whenever someone uses a passcode. We're still fairly new to using it but up to this point it has been working well.
Cons
Sometimes it glitches but it doesn't happen often and I'm not sure whether it might be related to our Wi Fi connection.

“facial recognition works well”
Pros
The facial recognition works reliably and the guest codes for delivery drivers are really convenient to have.
Cons
There have been a few occasions when the system couldn't connect to our ground floor Wi Fi so we had to go back to using our keys. It happened during freezing temperatures though so it wasn't a frequent issue.

“covers exactly what I need”
Pros
Whenever the system is running, it covers most of what I need from an intercom entry setup. If it goes offline, customer support usually emails me before I even notice there's a problem. Their message includes steps to help fix it and they continue following up by email or phone until everything is working again.
Cons
This app depends on having an internet provider connection available around the clock. Since my ISP drops service two or three times a week, the system goes down pretty often which is when customer support becomes especially valuable in getting it back online.

“convenient guest and delivery control”
Pros
Using the app feels convenient and easy. It really helps with managing guests and deliveries when you're not on site and the notifications are clear and simple to follow.
Cons
At times, the gate panels or tablets reset and make you wait, either in the app or at the gate, while everything reboots. Some visitors especially delivery drivers, also seem unsure about what to press once they arrive. I also have a small concern about the data being stored for facial recognition.

“Clear camera quality”
Pros
Hands free entry with facial recognition has been really convenient. The camera quality is clear and the microphone makes it easy to see and hear whoever is at the door.
Cons
During the winter it froze one time which definitely wasn't ideal. Every now and then, it also needs a couple of tries before it recognizes your face.

“user friendly system”
Pros
It is user friendly and after installation it didn't take much time to get comfortable with the interface. Setting up visitor specific entry codes is easy and it's helpful to be able to track exactly when those codes are used. Being able to unlock the door from my phone, check who I'm letting in and have my partner get alerts too has been really convenient.
Cons
The screen will freeze sometimes and when that happens no one can get into the building until the issue is resolved. Customer support is quick to reply which I appreciate but it still usually takes around five to ten minutes to fully fix the problem. Thankfully it hasn't happened often and it seems to come up more during extremely cold weather.

“hands free entry I genuinely love”
Pros
Coming home with my hands full and rushing around feels a lot less stressful because the hands free unlock is incredibly helpful. It's been a huge convenience to have the door open for me without needing to stop and fumble with anything.
Cons
When I'm exhausted in a rush and carrying heavy stuff and the system won't recognize my face right away so I end up stuck outside waiting. For a while, I actually had to call my own phone just to get myself in. I also found out from a friend, thankfully, that the door can apparently be unlocked with a photo which is definitely something Swiftlane should address if it hasn't already.

Pros
Being able to unlock the door from my phone and see who's at the entrance right there from the exterior door has been incredibly convenient.
Cons

“Handy visitor codes”
Pros
This software and all of its features felt really simple to use. I especially loved being able to create visitor codes and the video call feature was excellent too.
Cons

“phone based entry that feels modern”
Pros
Having building access on my phone is really convenient and makes the whole setup feel very accessible. It's also helpful that visitors and delivery people can use an access PIN. Another feature I really enjoy is getting calls to my apartment number directly on my phone, along with video so I can see who's there and speak to them right away.
Cons
Every now and then the system malfunctions and can leave you locked out of the building. The good thing is that it doesn't happen often, usually doesn't last long and the issue tends to be fixed quickly.
