“frustrating exports”
Pros
Having preset icons and being able to estimate costs per device was useful. The downside was that the preset and uploaded equipment lists did not always match what the customer actually needed which led to a lot of manual data entry and made it hard to go back and review things later.
Cons
A major issue was not being able to export drawings into a clear PDF or a printable version for the installation team or for customer deliverables. We also ended up needing to buy far more licenses than expected. Customers got annoyed when shared links expired before their own staff could use them for service work. The icon labeling was very poor as well. On top of that, we had to buy extra admin licenses because a survey could get locked in editing mode if the current editor did not release access. The export settings were also confusing and did not fully include everything that appeared on the actual icon.

Pros
Getting around the system felt quick and easy from the start. Setting up custom containers with everything needed for each product type saved us a lot of time.
Cons
The cap on how many items could be added to each survey ended up being a major issue. Quite a few of our jobs needed more items than the plan allowed us to include.
