flexible all in one platform

Pros

A big reason we chose this product was that it brings ITSM, ITAM, project management and integration features together in one platform. The flexibility, workflow automation, focus on higher education and the opportunity to gain better visibility and stronger operational efficiency all played a major role in our decision to move forward with it.

Cons

Since we have not gone live with the software yet, our main concern is the complexity that often comes with implementing and maintaining a highly configurable system. We expect there will be a learning curve for administrators especially when it comes to workflow design, reporting and overall system governance. Like many enterprise level tools, getting the most out of it will likely depend on having enough time, resources and training in place.

highly customizable

Pros

The platform is well organized and comes with a lot of features, plus there's plenty of room to customize it. The training and implementation teams were excellent to work with and the documentation along with the API endpoints has been very solid.

Cons

Email monitoring is a little tricky and feels more convoluted than it should. The reply token concept is useful but with larger teams it can end up creating some challenges in day to day use.

better tracking and visibility

Pros

Using TD ITSM has made it possible for us to build forms and workflows around the services we provide. It gives us a much better way to track requested work and prevents things from getting buried or lost in email. Requestors can follow the status of their submissions and see who is actively working on them. On the internal side, it has improved reporting quite a bit which makes it easier to spot service gaps or recurring support issues. The reporting tools also give leadership a high level view of what's happening without forcing them to dig through individual tickets. On top of that, we can maintain a large library of knowledge base articles which helps simplify support for people who want to troubleshoot on their own or resolve common issues faster.

Cons

Even though the TD tools are fairly user friendly, getting the full value from the platform still takes a certain level of skill and experience. They've recently rolled out more detailed training courses that go beyond what's typically available in the knowledge base and I'm hopeful that will help close that gap.

Handles everything youd need

Pros

Having this as a single place for handling multiple areas has been really valuable for us, from ticketing and ITAM to services, knowledge articles and client portal content. The interface feels user friendly and it's fairly simple to navigate and configure without much hassle.

Cons

A few parts do feel a bit too limited and oversimplified especially permissions and Knowledge Base notifications. It would be better to have more granular control in those areas although it's still manageable overall.

organized workflows that deliver

Pros

Keeping everything organized is where this software really shines. It has been very helpful in my day to day processes and it definitely feeds that satisfying feeling of checking tasks off once they're completed.

Cons

One area that still feels limiting is the form building logic. I need certain questions in forms to be more dynamic so people don't have to answer things that aren't relevant to what they actually need.

unified platform powerhouse

Pros

ITSM, ITAM, iPaaS, project management and a knowledge base all being available in one ecosystem is easily the biggest advantage. Shared user data, connected records and a single admin layer cut down on the tool sprawl that affects so many IT teams. Wearing both the system administrator and project manager hats, I get real value from being able to handle service delivery, assets, automation and portfolio work in one place instead of constantly jumping between separate platforms.

Cons

That said, the admin workload is definitely noticeable. Bulk tasks that should be simple often end up needing API scripts or a lot of manual workaround effort. Reporting between modules also isn't flexible enough to pull useful insights without exporting the data and analyzing it elsewhere. For a platform involved in this many operational functions, the built in admin tools really should be more capable.

Solid no code service hub

Pros

One of its biggest strengths is how powerful the platform is and how much it offers through its feature rich, no code setup. It brings our day to day ticketing, incidents and service work into one place effortlessly and the dashboard is clear and easy to scan which keeps the whole team aligned without needing a group of dedicated developers.

Cons

The biggest downside is the amount of time you have to put in upfront for customization. Even though the platform is extremely powerful, shaping it to match our organization's specific and more complex workflows can be a frustrating process and takes a lot of administrative effort to get it exactly where we want it.

Lets you accomplish a wide range of things

Pros

Right away, the usability stood out to me. It's a highly flexible platform that lets you accomplish a wide range of things. During the months of training, I gained a lot of knowledge and support that helped me learn how to automate our processes, improve efficiency and deliver better service.

Cons

If I had to ask for one addition, it would be custom attributes in the client portal for approvals. That said, it does have a strong feature request site where suggestions can be submitted and it really feels like customers are listened to.

strong low code platform

Pros

Using this app has been a very positive experience. The platform is user friendly and the no code/low code capabilities are genuinely useful rather than just a sales pitch. Their implementation team was also very supportive during setup and clearly worked to make sure everything matched what we needed. On top of that, customer support has been very accessible whenever questions come up and I like that they use their own system to show how well it works in practice.

Cons

We are still fairly early in our rollout with TDX so this may improve over time but the LMS has been a bit of a challenge for me so far. That said, it seems like they are actively working on it.

helpful centralized tickets

Pros

Having one central place for tickets has been really useful and the automatic assignment and triage help keep things organized. The integration capabilities are also a strong point and make it easier to connect with other tools.

Cons

A limitation is that forms and similar items can't be moved from one application to another. The forms also don't provide enough flexibility for customization and there isn't a coding option or backend interface available.

Useful analytics

Pros

Project management and reporting have been really useful and the dashboards and analytics are something I've enjoyed a lot. Ticketing and service management have also worked very well for what we need.

Cons

At this point, I haven't run into any real issues since I'm still a new user. The only thing worth noting is that my organization has submitted an enhancement request to add projects and time tracking to the mobile app.

great modules for our workflow

Pros

The way the modules connect with each other fits my kind of work really well especially tools like Help Desk and Projects.

Cons

We haven't rolled out the application yet since we're still in the planning and design phase. Up to this point though, I've noticed more positive differences compared with EasyVista which is the system we use now.

powerful asset management

Pros

IT service management and asset management being together in a single platform is a big advantage. The workflows are flexible, the ticketing system is easy to use and it does a good job of keeping both requests and assets well organized.

Cons

A few features take extra training before you can really understand and use them effectively. Some configurations and integrations are also fairly complex and there are occasional usability limitations that could be better refined.

reliable notifications for ticket handling

Pros

Handling tickets with students, faculty and staff is very convenient and the notifications make it simple to stay on top of communication and resolve issues quickly.

Cons

The auto assignment of tickets can be a drawback and the default workflow settings need to be adjusted. It would be better if workflows were only created when they are actually needed.

well organized toolkit

Pros

Everything in this platform feels very well organized. Even with so many features included, the layout stays clear and structured so it's simple to navigate and use without feeling overwhelming.

Cons

Something missing is a knowledge base summary. It would be helpful if the system could use AI to review common support tickets and help generate knowledge base articles from recurring issues and patterns.

affordable setup

Pros

Getting started with it is affordable and the administration side isnt difficult to handle. The client portal is also simple to configure and manage which makes day to day upkeep much more manageable.

Cons

One limitation is the lack of third party implementation partners which can restrict innovation during setup. Because of that, you usually have to rely on internal engineers or project managers to get things done.

flexible ITSM and ITAM control

Pros

The flexibility this tool gives me to handle both ITSM and ITAM in a way that matches my organization is a big plus.

Cons

Some tasks can become more complicated than they should be for what feels like a simple end user request. There's definitely room to improve the out of the box settings for users and ticketing applications.

Clean UI

Pros

Its updated layout feels much more usable than before and fits a laptop screen better. The interface looks cleaner and more modern and the added animations and mouseover interactions make it feel more polished. Navigation has been simplified which helps a lot and the single, clearly visible search bar is a nice improvement. The branding is also stronger now with the Teladoc logo at the top and the welcome message does a good job of explaining what GUS is to users.

Cons

A few navigation choices are still confusing. The Teladoc logo behaves in a way that feels too complicated since clicking it sends users to an external site instead of taking them back Home like most people would expect. The purpose of the navigation bar is also a bit questionable if everything ultimately leads to the same ticketing area. On top of that, the "Popular services" section gives the impression that it contains shortcuts but it doesn't actually take users to service request pages the way it appears it should.

simplified workflows

Pros

Between ticketing, project collaboration, asset management and reporting, this app has been really useful for our team. It keeps work organized, gives us much better visibility into what's happening and makes tracking tasks and requests across different teams a lot more manageable.

Cons

There is definitely a learning curve in some parts especially with reporting, workflows and the overall configuration. A few processes also take extra setup or customization before they work the way we actually need them to.
