“convenient mobile access”

Pros

I think being able to use it on a tablet or smartphone is a big plus. It makes the tool immediately accessible even for people who aren't very comfortable with computers.

Cons

A few things we wanted to accomplish weren't possible because of the way the software is laid out. That was disappointing though it wasn't serious enough to be a deal breaker.

“powerful reporting”

Pros

The functionality has been excellent and there are plenty of reporting tools available for urban forest management. The IT support has also been fantastic.

Cons

It still isn't available in metric measurements though it seems like that is being addressed. The CTLA valuation system is also fairly difficult to work with.

“Simple to customize”

Pros

Getting started with the software feels very simple right away and even the customization process is easy. The strongest part though, is the technical support offered both online and offline. On top of that the tutorial library is concise and gets straight to the point which makes learning the system much easier.

Cons

There are several additional modules, functions and features offered beyond the core software for an extra cost and some of those feel like standard tools that really should be included in the basic subscription package.

“all in one aerial mapping win”

Pros

Having base aerial views built in has been a big plus especially for locating and verifying trees and buildings. I also appreciate how all the information collected in the field is brought together in one place which makes the whole process much more organized.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about the software. The support team has also been very helpful when it comes to adding extra columns so we can include additional information required by the local jurisdictions we work with.

“user friendly field customization”

Pros

Using it in the field has been pretty easy and it's flexible enough to be customized to our needs. We've been able to make the necessary changes so the program captures the right information while we're out working.

Cons

Fitting it into our existing business setup has taken some effort and the mapping image could use an update.

Pros

Whenever I need mapping and field data collection in one place, this product is the one I turn to. It offers a solid range of useful features especially when I need to narrow things down and query specific records.

Cons

At times internet connectivity can get in the way and cause problems. I'd also appreciate a bit more flexibility when it comes to customizing certain features, like being able to choose the colors used for species dots.
