“user friendly experience”
Pros
The point of sale system is very easy to use which makes day to day tasks much more convenient.
Cons
One thing that's missing is the ability to delete memberships. I'd really like an option to remove memberships that are no longer being used.

“handy scheduling”
Pros
Using this for scheduling events has been really convenient and the discount code feature is simple to use which I appreciate most.
Cons
The frustrating part is that some of my clients have trouble logging in and accessing their payments so they usually end up reaching out to me to help sort it out.

This platform keeps getting faster and improving day by day, month by month and year by year.

There are still too many steps in the calendar view when trying to see the full schedule for instructors.

“Setup was too confusing”
Pros
At first glance it definitely has a modern, polished look. Compared with other systems, it gives off a strong first impression and looks impressive on the surface.
Cons
After buying it though the setup and navigation become very difficult to manage. I'd strongly suggest doing end to end testing from the customer's point of view to see how the workflow actually feels. We regularly hear from customers that the online process is confusing to get through. The platform does seem to have some potential but that really depends on how fast improvements are released. Since we only use it for batting tunnel rentals, it hasn't been a user friendly fit without requiring a lot of extra effort.

“wide variety of options for bookings”
Pros
There are lots of event options available for private training sessions and parents are usually able to book them without any trouble.
Cons
Setting availability can be a bit inconvenient and if you need to change the trainer or adjust the session time, that has to be done in a separate window.

“Useful features”
Pros
Calendar and scheduling tools have been the most valuable parts for me and the membership and contact features are really useful too.
Cons
A few parts of the system don't quite fit baseball or softball specific needs especially when it comes to handling multiple teams or an organization wide setup.

“all in one platform”
Pros
It takes a little time to get used to but once you fully put all the features to work, it makes running the business so much easier. There are honestly too many benefits to list. This software handles just about everything I need, including the calendar, scheduling, income tracking, memberships, camps, point of sale and email lists, just to name a few.
Cons
There are a couple of small bugs in the calendar but I've figured out ways to work around them.

Pros
The back office interface has a modern design and once I got through the initial learning curve, it became simple to manage everything as an administrator.
Cons
Some of our clients mentioned that the site wasn't very user friendly which made the booking process harder for them.

“Quick learning curve”
Pros
Compared with Zen Planner, this platform was much simpler to pick up and start using right away. Learning the system didn't take long and it's been very solid for actually running things day to day.
Cons
Whats missing is a monthly calendar view showing all available time slots for clients to choose from. A few of my clients have mentioned they'd really like a month layout that clearly displays open times.

“perfect fit for my business”
Pros
Running my business with this software has been a really positive experience. I haven't used other platforms so I don't have much to compare it to but overall it has been perfect for what I need.
Cons
Since this is the only system I've really worked with, I don't have anything else to measure it against. I've been with Upper Hand for 7 years now and they've continued to improve over time. Thumbs up!

“My Upper Hand review”
Pros
The memberships option and payment plans have been really useful and I've enjoyed having both available.
Cons
One frustrating limitation is that clients can't apply their credits across all of their participants. Each participant has to buy their own package so families can't share packages among all their kids.

“memberships create more trouble”
Pros
It's useful for booking lessons and handling payments in one place.
Cons
The membership feature which is supposed to help with auto renewals, often ends up causing more problems than it solves. It either needs to be fixed properly or removed altogether.

“all clients in one place”
Pros
This is a really nice way to keep all of your clients together in one system.
Cons
I think the customer side can be a bit confusing especially for first time sign ups. I often get questions about the schedule because they can't view it until after signing up for a package or membership.
