The fact that they want to charge extra for every little thing, they increase their prices but when you can not access the jobs for 4 days they do not give you a credit for it not working for days. I believe their tech people are separated into working on certain areas causing it nor to flow well as one, like all the services in za job are completed but you still have to manually mark the job as completed. If someone pays to much it does not let you enter the payment and leave a credit on the account, which some customers want, you just can not enter. Prepayments are applied to jobs instead of services so you have to go back in and apply to that service after the service is completed because it does not show right in the accounts receivable. Now I just told them that their customer history report does not have job completed dates on it (something you would expect to be in a customers history), they told me they can add it but I have to pay extra to get the job completed dates added to the customer history. Wow, are you kidding me, then he says everyone is using that report already so it well cause problems for other users if they make that change. Are you kidding. As if other users would not want job completed dates on a history. I would expect that information to be included in a customers history but not Arborgold, you have to pay extra for them to finish a report which is incomplete if you ask me.

This company took thousands of dollars, made promises to us to have us going in (x) amount of days. 2 months later we had maybe 2 onboarding calls with them, couldn't use the software enough to get costumers plugged in to get estimates over to them. We brought this to their attention, had a virtual meeting, they made more promises to help us get where we needed to be. We did another training call with them that got us no closer to being able to use this software to bring business in. When we told them we would not be able to use them any longer because their software is not user friendly at all without all of the training, and we have a business that depends on getting quotes out to customers. So we had their software without being able to use it at all, we had only a handful of 30 minute training calls that didn't help get us anywhere, and when we asked for some kind of refund (it didn't even have to be a full refund) or some way of making this right with us, they stopped taking calls from us, and all communication was ended, they denied refunding us anything. It is the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen happen with company. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I feel robbed.

“Amazing solution!
Pros
Arborgold made my daily admin tasks so much easier. I love that it lets me run reports to pull out important information quickly. It's definitely one of the main things I enjoy about the program.
Cons
The only downside I've found is that I wish there were more automated features. For example, it would be great if it could send email reminders to clients about upcoming appointments, invoices, etc. That would save a lot of time.

“Why I wouldn't recommend ArborGold
Pros
Honestly, I don't like anything about Arborgold. It's just not user-friendly and the chemical tracking system? Absolutely unacceptable. I expected much better.
Cons
The chemical tracking is a huge disappointment. It's not reliable at all. You might end up needing separate software to keep track of chemical logs for audits. Also, the program gives the illusion of tracking weather data but when you try to pull a report, the data is missing. Such a problemmm!

“Satisfied with the landscaping tools
Pros
I really like how easy it is to write proposals and send invoices. Since I do a lot of fieldwork and handle proposals and billing, if it weren't for how simple Arborgold makes it, I don't think I could manage everything.
Cons
It gets frequent updates but that can be a challenge for us tree people. Every time there's an update, it feels like we have to relearn how to use it. Once we get used to it, it's okay but always tough to use after every update.

You can tell they really focus on the Tree and Landscape industries. It's clear they understand how these industries work and that makes a big difference.
Cons
There are so many issues, it's hard to even list them all. A big problem we've faced is that emails with proposals and invoices are only received by clients about 50% of the time. This is seriously unprofessional and we've lost a lot of money because of it. The software tells you "email sent successfully," but that's often a lie. If you complain about this, they always blame their email service partner, which is unacceptable. Another huge issue is how outdated the software feels. It was clearly designed more than a decade ago and it shows. The mobile app is almost useless, it's basically just for writing proposals. Even scheduling work on it is a pain. If a job has 25 services, it can take 15�20 minutes to schedule everything individually. The program also crashes a lot and I've lost work more than once. Once, I spent 45 minutes on a proposal only for it to crash and delete everything.

Pros
We signed up for Arborgold a year ago, thinking an integration with Xero accounting would happen within two months. Well, that hasn't happened and it's been pretty disappointing.
Cons
The promised Xero integration still hasn't happened and when we asked for a refund, they said no. It's been a total waste of time and money.

“My experience with Arborgold
Pros
Being able to handle multi-day projects is awesome. The SCM is really helpful and it makes inventory counts way easier. plus the job costing feature is amazing , it's so accurate and easy to use.
Cons
We have a love/hate relationship with the constant updates and new features. They upgrade the program every couple of months, which can be both exciting and overwhelming at the same time.

It has completely changed how we do business. It's given us a much more professional look for proposals, provides real-time information to employees when they need it and overall, I'm really impressed by how well it works!
Cons
There isn't much that I really like about it. I just wish it could handle AP as well since I'm trying to move away from QuickBooks.

Pros
It is really easy to use. There's no hard learning curve and it's flexible enough for companies of all sizes. Customer service is amazing too, they always respond quickly and solve any issues.
Cons
There are some bugs but when you report them, they usually get fixed with the next update. It's not perfect but at least they're responsive.

I've tried demos from competitors but It is far simpler to use. The steps are simple and their staff has always been super friendly and quick to address my concerns.
Cons
My biggest complaint is that I can't do invoicing, accounting or deposits from the Mobile Estimator. When I'm out in the field for 12 hours, I can't access any of that info. So, I have to play catch-up when I get home and it's really frustrating.

Pros
I love how easy Arborgold is to use. It's incredibly functional and I appreciate the communication features, whether it's from the phone center or when invoicing. Their customer support is also top-notch.
Cons
There are things I've been asking for that still haven't been updated. For example, I want a link on the Mobile Crew feature to the Maintenance file, so I can apply unbillable hours to equipment or other items when the crew isn't working.

“Solid tool but it's pretty slow

I really like the Work Order feature. It lets me keep jobs visible without scheduling them right away, which is super helpful for staying organized and not having to constantly check on proposal statuses.
Cons
It is so slow! I timed the jump from screen to screen and it takes anywhere from 3 to 6.5 seconds. Who has time to wait around for that every day? Also, there's no option for personalized email templates, so I have to manually add each customer's name to the bill. It completely defeats the purpose of the automation. And when you try to write a longer task description, the item description box only shows one line at a time, which makes it a pain to use. I ended up switching back to Jobber because it's quicker, smoother and their development team moves faster too.
