My experience with BigChange

Pros

This has really helped take a lot of pressure off. It has made things smoother, reducing stress points that used to slow us down.

Cons

Some of the reports do not always seem to tabulate correctly, which can be frustrating when I am trying to pull accurate data.

Budget friendly tool!

Pros

The invoicing, scheduling and fleet tracking features have been really useful. However, I have noticed that fleet tracking is starting to act up a bit. Pricing is also something to keep an eye on but overall, it has been a solid system.

Cons

The setup costs for quoting documents are way too high. I have also had issues with the CRM constantly failing on Job Watch, and the system crashes whenever I try to zoom into maps on my phone or tablet. The character limit for quoting descriptions is another big problem, some of my quotes go over 5,000 characters and I end up having to send a separate document which is not ideal. Overall, it is starting to feel outdated and clunky.

Why BigChange stands out

Pros

I really like being able to track all the work that gets logged and provide real-time updates. It makes managing tasks much easier and keeps everything organized.

Cons

No complaints at all! BigChange has been solid software all the way around.

Backbone of our operations

Pros

Bigchange has completely eliminated the need for paper, which has made us much more efficient in scheduling work and optimizing our technicians' days. On top of that our customer care rep is incredibly supportive, regularly checking in and making sure we are getting the most out of the system, something I have not seen with other workforce management platforms.

Cons

The user interface feels pretty outdated and clunky & it could really use an update. It is not the most flexible, which makes it harder for new office staff to get the hang of things. Another downside is that it does not integrate with Sage's cloud-based accounting software, so I cannot use it for invoicing or finances. We also have it integrated with a client so they can assign us jobs but even that feels a bit clunky and outdated.

Second time with it, still great

Pros

It is really easy to use and highly customizable. That flexibility makes a big difference because we can tweak processes on the fly whenever needed, without any Issue.

Cons

Being locked into a five-year contract is a big commitment and the cost adds up. There are also some features I would really like to have, like dashcams but they are not available.

Good fit for all needs

Pros

It has solved some of our biggest pain points. It has made team management much easier and has improved our ability to track work efficiently. It has also turned out to be a great collaboration tool, which has really helped with communication and coordination.

Cons

No issues at all because it has been working great for us with no problems so far.

Must-have for device security

Pros

Their team is highly knowledgeable and always available to assist our IT department. They help us get the most out of the product, which has been really valuable.

Cons

As part of the internal IT team I really wish I had the ability to manage certain parts of the administration myself instead of having to rely on external support for everything.

Helpful tool for team planning

Pros

The dashboard and interface are super easy to use. I can get a quick snapshot of my entire team in one place, which helps me stay on top of everything without digging through different screens.

Cons

There is definitely room for more features to be added, which would make things even better.

well-structured onboarding

Pros

We are only a couple of weeks into using BigChange but the experience has been great so far. The Sales team was refreshingly upfront about what the system can and cannot do (plus, they brought donuts). also, onboarding process has been incredibly detailed, which made getting started much smoother.

Cons

Getting everything set up takes a lot of work. There is no way around it, it is time-consuming but in the long run, I know the effort will be worth it.

Efficient tool!

Pros

This has made us so much more efficient because all the information we need for our jobs is right in one place. The support team, especially the road crew has been fantastic and really helpful whenever we need assistance.

Cons

It can get a bit complicated at times but once I got used to it, the learning curve was not too bad. At first, it felt overwhelming but the support team was always there to help whenever I needed it.

Game changer in its field

Pros

Being able to send digital certificates to clients automatically has been a game-changer for me. It has saved so much admin time and freed me up to focus on other tasks that usually get pushed to the side. The live tracking and real-time data have made it so much easier to manage resources without second-guessing anything. One of my favorite features is adding stock items through Job Watch. Before this, I never really had a clear view of our stock or what my team had in their vehicles, which made scheduling and ordering a problem. Now, everything just runs way more smoothly.

Cons

I would really like more customization options for my view in certain areas where they are not available yet. Some of the reporting features could also use some improvements.

Streamlining operations with BigChange

Pros

The biggest selling point for us was how flexible and modular this system is. We were able to create our own Worksheets to fit our unique business needs, including specific ePod requirements that most other systems do not support. That level of customization has been a game-changer for us.

Cons

It has a lot of data but there are not enough ways to analyze or extract it easily. Better data analysis tools would be a huge plus.

Just started with BigChange in 2023

Pros

It is so easy to add jobs into the system and instantly see where all the operators are at any given time. That real-time visibility makes scheduling and coordination much simpler.

Cons

Finding older information quickly has been a bit of a challenge for me. It could just be a matter of us getting more familiar with the system but it is something I am still figuring out.

Simple to use

Pros

The system is user-friendly for both our field technicians and back-office staff. Everyone can use it easily, which makes things run a lot more smoothly across the board.

Cons

The stock module does not fully align with how our industry manages stock. It could definitely use a rethink to better fit the way we handle inventory across the business.
