“Helpful team and smooth experience
Pros
Their team worked closely with us and was very helpful during a difficult launch period. The product itself delivers a smooth online experience and gives us a view into our data that was impossible with our old systems.
Cons
Very little negative to say. Like any new system launch we've had a few bumps but these are almost always because our users didn't follow the new procedures we set up.

“Bundles items well
Pros
The option to bundle related items like work orders or projects for a complete overview. It helps see the bigger picture.
Cons
Some labels mean different things on different screens which can be confusing. For example "Customer" and "Account" are used in various places but don't always refer to the same thing. The system is very flexible so things can often be reopened and altered making it hard to lock in a specific snapshot in time.

“Improves workflow
Pros
During our review we saw its processes were very well linked. We knew right away it could help us improve our workflow, output and results. In our competitive field our edge comes from being efficient in service delivery. The platform is key to that advantage giving us live data and a full-color view of our business metrics.
Cons
Not much. A few functions like progress invoicing and purchase order tracking were still being built when we started. I know no system does everything but these were crucial for us. The team promised to develop them and they are now a core part of our experience.

“Clear system and exports
Pros
For me being able to export information is crucial. I like how clear the system is. We can see exactly what's happening. Processing forms is simple with the different views and dashboards. It lets us refine our procedures.
Cons
I'd prefer to create more reports directly inside the platform instead of always downloading to Excel. The reports that exist aren't simple to learn. The hardest part is definitely the learning curve. If your internal procedures aren't clearly defined it can get complex. The toughest part of the setup was moving our old data over. You need to actually have that historical data ready to transfer.

It truly grasps what mobile service teams need.
Cons
It's an extra charge to have fillable forms on the mobile app. The business intelligence tools are also a separate fee. It would be better to include these so customers don't feel like they're constantly paying more.

“Endless functions
Pros
Browser access means we can get to all our jobs from any location. Immediate access to job specifics, planned dates and contact info. The platform has so many functions�... the possibilities seem endless.
Cons
There are so many features that training can become a lot to handle. (This is a good problem to have, just time-consuming.) If I did it again, I'd begin with the core functions and add more later as we had time for training.

“powerful framework
Pros
It's built on the powerful and constantly improving Microsoft Dynamics 365 framework which can be heavily tailored. The team listens to the real problems faced by service contractors and finds ways to enhance the product through frequent updates. Support always replies fast and gives precise, detailed answers to fix operational issues which are often due to missing user data or not following the correct process order.
Cons
I think there are a handful of small improvements I'd like, many of which stem from limitations set by Microsoft in their core system. The team is good at finding workarounds for these minor issues either through updates or quicker custom solutions.

We didn't fully anticipate the work involved in switching over but that would be true for any product.
