“handles multiple workflows!”
Pros
We put SiteCapture to work in a bunch of different ways. It handles site checks for roofing solar setups, batteries and generators. We also use it to put together funding packages for lenders and to manage photos that outside inspectors need. Our team leaders can whip up different templates depending on who's doing the job and what type of work it is so nobody misses a shot. I also really appreciate that the pictures keep their high quality, we can grab whole batches at once and every photo comes with a clear time stamp.
Cons
Figuring out how to build templates feels a bit jumbled. And cleaning house is harder than it should be.. I wish there was a simpler way to turn off, replace or just delete old templates nobody uses anymore. Also when someone loses their password we shouldn't have to dig into their account from the office to fix it. A simple button to shoot them a new invite or reset link would save us so much back and forth.

“Super simple for templates”
Pros
Putting together templates is super simple. What really works for me is that I can keep collecting information even when I'm out in an area with no signal.
Cons
I really wish there was a simpler way to copy and paste pictures from a pre-work survey over to the final inspection template. That would speed things up big time and basically automate putting together those after-shot reports.

“tracks employees and contractors well”
Pros
Keeping track of everyone is so much easier now. We've got both regular employees and independent contractors and we're juggling over fifty different projects every month. For each one we need surveys before the work starts and after it's finished and this tool pulls it all together in one spot.
Cons
The way templates update is a real headache. They only move forward so you can't fix or change any surveys that are already active or finished. You have to pick a hard cutoff date and make everyone stick to it. This gets super messy when contractors already downloaded an old version for jobs they haven't done yet. They end up having to start fresh surveys every single time we push an update.

“Easy to start”
Pros
You barely need any explanation to get started. It kind of walks you through itself.
Cons
Syncing photos for the people working out in the field eats up a lot of time.

“platform has improved now!”
Pros
This platform has come such a long way since we first started using it. It's so easy to operate now. The biggest headache used to be when you hadn't opened the app in a couple days and all your photos would get stuck syncing. They patched that up though and now we document every single project our company does right through SiteCapture.
Cons
The biggest pain point used to be photo syncing after going a few days without opening the app but I'll give them credit they actually fixed that one.

“offline photo uploads work great”
Pros
Being able to push pictures up in different sizes is a big deal for me especially since it still works when I'm offline and just sends everything later.
Cons
Right now we're using everything we need and nothing has come up that makes me unhappy with it.

“Flexible templates”
Pros
What I really like is being able to shape the templates however I want. I can add fields when we need new information or strip things out that aren't relevant. Another huge plus is pulling a report at the end that drops every single photo right into the document with all the notes attached.
Cons
Tracking down specific projects is hit or miss. Sometimes I'll type in a customer's first name, last name or even part of their street address and nothing shows up even though I know it's in there.
