Skimmer constantly evolving

Pros

A fantastic way to organize your workflow and business. Not only that but your presentation to the customer is consistent and very attractive.

Cons

Unable to create reoccurring work orders that can be continuously allocated to a particular employee.

Loving Skimmer so far!

Pros

This product is really easy to use and I love how the layout is designed. Everything feels easy, so figuring things out does not take much effort. Plus, Skimmer provides great resources if I ever need help.

Cons

The only thing I am not a fan of is that I cannot see a breakdown of Stripe payments along with the fees for each customer. It would be really helpful to have that info easily accessible.

User-friendly & smooth

Pros

Skimmer makes things simple and works exactly how I need it to. It is super easy to use and I like that I can customize it to fit the way I work.

Cons

After using it for about two years, I honestly have not run into any issues so far.

Nothing beats Skimmer!

Pros

It is really user-friendly and makes managing everything easy. I can easily access weekly reports on pools I have serviced, monthly reports on profits and even parts installed for billing, all right at my fingertips. Plus, it hardly ever glitches, which is a huge improvement over other apps I have tried.

Cons

I do not really have anything to complain about but if I had to pick something, I would say when it force-logs my techs out. It is easy enough to log back in and I get that it helps keep the software running smoothly and up to date but some of my less tech-savvy guys forget their passwords and end up calling me for help.

Big fan of Pool Buddy!

Pros

Managing routes and billing has never been easier. I really like how it lets me keep everything transparent for my customers, so they can see exactly what has been done to their pools every week.

Cons

I wish there was an option to use other credit card processors like Square instead of being limited to just one.

Hands down, best support!

Pros

The customer support team is always available whenever I call. They are really helpful, answer all my questions and always find a great resolution for any issues I run into.

Cons

The credit card fees through their third-party vendor can add up, which is something to keep in mind.

Best app for pool pros!

Pros

It is easy for both my techs and office staff to use, which saves us a lot of time. The automatic billing feature and the customer portal are also great additions that make things run even smoother.

Cons

The cheapest plan does not include the ability to send quotes, which is a bit frustrating. I run a small company and plan to stay that way, maybe with slightly higher pricing. Since it is going to take me a while to grow my customer base, the "0-50" tier does not quite fit my needs.

Definitely a great experience!

Pros

Skimmer has a solution for just about anything a pool company needs. Whether it is managing routes, tracking chemicals or handling billing, it takes care of it all.

Cons

It would be really helpful if we could attach pictures to invoices and work orders for clients. That feature would make communication a lot smoother.

My most trusted tool!

Pros

I was able to create and optimize my route for maximum efficiency, which has been a game-changer. The app lets me track work orders, log parts and chemicals used, generate invoices and even collect payments..all in one place.

Cons

I am still figuring out how to make the most of the shopping list and work order items. Right now, I still bring a notepad with me to the supply house when buying parts because I have not quite figured out the best way to sort through everything in the app while I am there.

Skimmer is fantastic!

Pros

The app is really easy to use and I especially love how it helps with routing. The integration with Orenda chemistry is a great bonus that makes my job even easier.

Cons

I really wish there were more reporting options. Having extra insights would make tracking things even better.

Skimmer is my favorite!

Pros

Super simple to use and the customer service and tech support are top-notch. My customers appreciate the emails they get when I finish servicing their pools and the billing process could not be easier.

Cons

Auto-billing feels a bit confusing but I plan to go over it soon with the awesome tech support team.
