“QuickBooks linked and reliable scheduling
Pros
I love that the app links directly to QuickBooks which has seriously simplified how I handle invoices, saving me time and worry and the route scheduling feature gives me confidence that recurring jobs are set up reliably and won't be missed.
Cons
On the mobile app I find it awkward to enter item quantities because the input controls are hard to tap accurately when I have larger fingers and furthermore, once I mark a job inactive it becomes a real pain to track it down later for any billing or reference purpose which complicates my record-keeping.

“simple, deep customization and time-saving tool
Pros
Using this program has been a revelation for me because it's incredibly simple and offers deep customization and it integrates flawlessly with my accounting system so keeping records is practically effortless, I can organize routes and services without hassle, delegate work to my staff and managers and even have them reassign jobs among themselves which has eliminated the usual miscommunications and missed leads that used to slow us down. The amount of time it saves both me and my crew is priceless and having every customer's details literally at our fingertips makes service calls smoother, on top of that, the customer support is outstanding and I'm genuinely excited about the ways The Service Program will continue to help us and enhance the experience for our customers.
Cons
I wish I'd discovered The Service Program much earlier instead of wasting time tinkering with a different application for so many months because it would have spared me a lot of trial-and-error and unnecessary hassle.

By attaching QR labels I can confirm exactly which location and what service every unit has received which in turn makes our monthly billing precise and reliable, ultimately, my aim is to deliver the best service and billing in the tri-county area.
Cons
I haven't had enough hands-on time with TSP to point out any clear drawbacks yet but whenever an issue pops up I rely on the in-app chat support to walk me through resolving it so I feel covered.

“great tool for flexible routing
Pros
Because it integrates with QuickBooks and handles invoices so smoothly, I also rely on it to plan my weekly route, the Service Programmers team actually built a route template that matched my workflow perfectly. It's flexible enough for a business my size up to a Fortune 500 and really easy to use. The fact that it can memorize transactions and lets me edit invoice descriptions is the key reason I picked The Service Program and I've never had trouble reaching customer service.
Cons
It's not really a drawback though I find the sheer volume of features can be a little overwhelming at first, thankfully, you can always call Customer Service and they'll walk me through and teach every aspect of the software I want to learn and use.

Pros
I can easily tailor the system to fit our company's workflows and I appreciate that it offers great options covering everything from billing and rentals to inventory management and service call handling.
Cons
Because our client base is so large, I have to rely on QuickBooks to handle accounting integration which works well for many businesses but feels like a constraint for our specific setup.

While it was QB compatible, I found it didn't work very well although it seemed to include all the features we needed, it ultimately wasn't very functional for our landscaping application.
Cons
I experienced the mobile app repeatedly crashing which was extremely frustrating and although customer support was helpful during the first thirty days, after that they became unresponsive and stopped assisting us.

“smooth QuickBooks integration and reliable tool
Pros
I've found that the program integrates with Quickbooks and runs smoothly across our network for three users and even if a computer unexpectedly reboots the information remains safe. For a small business the price is reasonable and it genuinely helps us be more efficient while serving our clients. In all the time we've relied on this application we haven't found anything that would suit us better and whenever technical issues arise customer service has consistently been able to resolve them and they always respond promptly.
Cons
We'd appreciate clearer communication around upgrades, feature prioritization and timelines and having an easy way to customize reports would be hugely beneficial.

Before switching, I was stuck with a routing application that couldn't integrate with QuickBooks so when TSP started syncing so easily with QuickBooks it made invoicing and monitoring customer accounts remarkably easy and hassle-free.
Cons
The migration of our data turned out to be quite involved and far from effortless, leaving me with a substantial amount of manual verification and numerous adjustments to make across records although I do recognize that moving information between different software systems typically isn't a quick or easy task.

“creative support and great for training videos
Pros
Group is incredibly sharp and creative, often coming up with solutions outside the usual box when the standard approach doesn't cut it, in all the times I've pushed them, probably more than they deserved, they never once told me something couldn't be done and even when I've been the proverbial pain in the side they've treated me with patience and respect, especially during those moments I grumble "I hate computers." I'm genuinely pleased with the software itself, its performance and the customer service and the library of training videos that I can access at any time fits perfectly with my schedule, I rely on those videos for onboarding new staff and they are absolutely priceless to me.
Cons
Well, I really dislike having to sit through an entire instructional video just to scrounge a very quick answer so a much better, more granular search function for the videos would save loads of time and frustration when I need something fast, on another note, I almost never get results with the live online tech help although sending an email to customer support and receiving a callback has proven to be a dependable workaround for me personally.

I've noticed it integrates smoothly with QuickBooks, offers a very simple interface, a reliable mobile app, genuinely helpful technical support and comes at a great price.
Cons
Although we don't receive technical support outside normal business hours, I'm glad that we can now track rentals along with inventory and parts which has been useful.

Tech support is really quick to respond and always helpful. For me the training videos are super clear and easy to follow which makes getting started much smoother.
Cons

After my initial contact with Gregg and a poor online demo, things went quiet. I asked a couple of questions about credit card processing that couldn't be answered and they suggested rescheduling the demo which was fine. But after that, I reached out again through their website last week and didn't hear anything back.

“challenging setup for unique businesses

It's really easy to use for me and doesn't take long to get the hang of.
Cons
This system works best for A/C repair, pool cleaning, pest control and similar services, it was designed for those types of businesses. For lawn care, especially quality-focused services like ours, it can be tricky. We spend extra time servicing each yard which makes scheduling difficult since the system prefers a limited schedule. I spent weeks entering customer data and adjusting schedules often messed up the routing. Support during setup is limited, with small windows for training and minimal documentation. The technical team is courteous and tries to help but if your business is a bit unique, they can struggle. This system might work well for startups with fewer customers but larger or more flexible operations could find it frustrating. The mobile app helps but it doesn't fix all the setup challenges.

“instant updates and optimized routing
Pros
Before we kept track of work orders and routes with a huge whiteboard and spreadsheets which was stressful every time we added or removed a customer. Now with The Service Program, adding a new stop or work order updates all mobile devices instantly and it even suggests the best day and route based on location. Assigning new work orders to the closest person means no more criss-crossing routes and wasted time.
