We use it as our main hub for all our customer operations. So any time someone has a service issue or needs to book or return a rental that's the system we go to. It keeps everything in one place.
Cons
I keep running into problems with the mobile app: it clearly needs more development, downloads take forever and outdated past dates and former employees still appear on the app. Also when I create an invoice in Sp and post it to Qb the parts land in the wrong section and it constantly flags the transaction as an 'unspecified site'.

Using it together with QuickBooks has made handling our monthly billing incredibly easy and I've found the whole process much simpler and faster.
Cons
One major annoyance I've run into is that renaming an asset completely wipes out its historical records and on top of that we can't figure out how to mark an asset as retired or taken out of service without resorting to deleting it from the system, we'd much prefer to keep a record of the unit even after it's been sold so there's an audit trail and ownership history to reference later.

We've found the Service Program extremely easy to use and in my experience there have been no problems with how it integrates with QuickBooks which was a relief, moreover, migrating our information from a very ancient database went far more smoothly than I expected and the technical support team has typically responded quickly and accurately whenever we've needed assistance so any problems that did arise were rare, minor and easy to resolve.
Cons
Our office relies on an internet-based version of the program which becomes a real problem because our connection here is terrible and whenever the network drops we get kicked out of the Service Program, interrupting our workflow.

Running a small pond and lake management company I made a decision twelve years ago to try and grow my customer base without bringing on an office person or bookkeeper to handle the extra invoicing and paperwork and so I went looking for a software solution that would check a specific set of boxes for me: 1. usable on a mobile device while I'm working in the field, 2. customizable to fit my business needs, 3. able to capture data and produce a sales ticket, 4. capable of interfacing with QuickBooks so that month-end invoicing could occur without any double entry into my accounting system, 5. reliable and easy to operate and 6. affordable and the Service Program didn't just meet each of those requirements, it has consistently surpassed what I expected.
Cons
I will say that while the Service Program does provide some access to legacy data on a mobile device but retrieving those older records on a phone or tablet can feel a bit awkward and tough to navigate whereas accessing the same historical information on the desktop is noticeably smoother and more convenient.

This system is very simple and I find I can comfortably double-check entries before they go live, when posting mistakes happen they can be resolved quickly and since it imports data from QuickBooks the actual posting process is much easier, our usual workflow is to assemble billings inside QuickBooks first and then transfer them into TSP.

Initially I ran into several problems with the mapping functions which was frustrating but the support team were very helpful and guided me through resolving those bugs step by step, that said, the overall interface can feel a little daunting when you first start using it and in my opinion it probably includes more features than a typical small operation truly needs so there is a learning curve before you can make it work efficiently for your business.

The customer support here consistently impresses me, whenever our team sends an email with a request I'm confident we'll get a timely reply and the live chat tech support is a fast, practical way to work through small problems without having to wait on hold for long periods. When a functionality we need doesn't exist yet, TSP has been willing to customize the system so we can accomplish and display exactly what we want which feels incredibly accommodating. Because of this software we've been able to roll out mobile devices for our pool techs in the field and monitor their activity in real time back at the store which has helped reduce missed appointments. Also, the QuickBooks integration is smooth and saves a huge amount of time compared with how we used to do things.
Cons
The product includes far more capabilities than my team will ever make use of and while that range is impressive it can feel overwhelming, it would be ideal if there were an option to configure the interface so we only see the modules and tools we actually use. Adding the ability to customize the toolbar would be a wonderful enhancement to an already strong piece of software, allowing us to align our workflow and avoid clutter.

After switching to QB Online and bringing SP along for the ride, I ran into so many problems with QB Online, not least the awful customer support, that we eventually reverted to our QuickBooks Desktop setup. When it came time to move SP back to the desktop environment, they were incredibly helpful, handling the transfer over a weekend and consistently checking in on our company throughout the process. I honestly think their IT and support crew are outstanding (I half-jokingly suggested QB should hire them) and I would absolutely recommend SP to anyone operating a pool business because they were simply terrific.
Cons
I've found the system to be extremely capable but it does have a learning curve, with so many features packed in, it can sometimes be hard to figure out how everything fits together and where to start which makes parts of it feel confusing until you've used it for a while.

This tool makes moving from paper records to a digital workflow much smoother and while there are other solutions available, what genuinely sets this one apart for me is the absolutely phenomenal tech support, their team typically answers my questions within minutes instead of days and they approach issues with patience and understanding while cutting straight to a solution. On top of that, they've tailored the software to our specific needs which shows they're willing to go the extra mile. Overall great people and a great program.

One major missing feature that bothers me is the lack of an audit trail built into the software that would let me see who might have deleted a task or a customer record and what the deleted item actually contained, as it stands, when something is accidentally removed there's no easy way for me to determine what the task was intended for or which customer it belonged to. I really hope this gets addressed in a future release, at minimum I'd like a simple 24-hour history log that captures the customer's name, the type of task, the time of deletion and who performed the deletion. In my view this should be a high priority for upcoming updates and knowing how responsive the support team has been, I expect they will probably implement it soon.

I haven't had enough hands-on time with TSP to point out any clear drawbacks yet but whenever an issue pops up I rely on the in-app chat support to walk me through resolving it so I feel covered.

“great tool for flexible routing
Pros
Because it integrates with QuickBooks and handles invoices so smoothly, I also rely on it to plan my weekly route, the Service Programmers team actually built a route template that matched my workflow perfectly. It's flexible enough for a business my size up to a Fortune 500 and really easy to use. The fact that it can memorize transactions and lets me edit invoice descriptions is the key reason I picked The Service Program and I've never had trouble reaching customer service.
Cons
It's not really a drawback though I find the sheer volume of features can be a little overwhelming at first, thankfully, you can always call Customer Service and they'll walk me through and teach every aspect of the software I want to learn and use.

I can easily tailor the system to fit our company's workflows and I appreciate that it offers great options covering everything from billing and rentals to inventory management and service call handling.
Cons

While it was QB compatible, I found it didn't work very well although it seemed to include all the features we needed, it ultimately wasn't very functional for our landscaping application.
Cons
I experienced the mobile app repeatedly crashing which was extremely frustrating and although customer support was helpful during the first thirty days, after that they became unresponsive and stopped assisting us.

“smooth QuickBooks integration and reliable tool
Pros
I've found that the program integrates with Quickbooks and runs smoothly across our network for three users and even if a computer unexpectedly reboots the information remains safe. For a small business the price is reasonable and it genuinely helps us be more efficient while serving our clients. In all the time we've relied on this application we haven't found anything that would suit us better and whenever technical issues arise customer service has consistently been able to resolve them and they always respond promptly.
Cons
We'd appreciate clearer communication around upgrades, feature prioritization and timelines and having an easy way to customize reports would be hugely beneficial.

Before switching, I was stuck with a routing application that couldn't integrate with QuickBooks so when TSP started syncing so easily with QuickBooks it made invoicing and monitoring customer accounts remarkably easy and hassle-free.
Cons
The migration of our data turned out to be quite involved and far from effortless, leaving me with a substantial amount of manual verification and numerous adjustments to make across records although I do recognize that moving information between different software systems typically isn't a quick or easy task.

“creative support and great for training videos
Pros
Group is incredibly sharp and creative, often coming up with solutions outside the usual box when the standard approach doesn't cut it, in all the times I've pushed them, probably more than they deserved, they never once told me something couldn't be done and even when I've been the proverbial pain in the side they've treated me with patience and respect, especially during those moments I grumble "I hate computers." I'm genuinely pleased with the software itself, its performance and the customer service and the library of training videos that I can access at any time fits perfectly with my schedule, I rely on those videos for onboarding new staff and they are absolutely priceless to me.
Cons
Well, I really dislike having to sit through an entire instructional video just to scrounge a very quick answer so a much better, more granular search function for the videos would save loads of time and frustration when I need something fast, on another note, I almost never get results with the live online tech help although sending an email to customer support and receiving a callback has proven to be a dependable workaround for me personally.

I've noticed it integrates smoothly with QuickBooks, offers a very simple interface, a reliable mobile app, genuinely helpful technical support and comes at a great price.
Cons
Although we don't receive technical support outside normal business hours, I'm glad that we can now track rentals along with inventory and parts which has been useful.
