“My top-choice!

Pros

My choice is FleetWave all day long because it is very user-friendly. The best part about it is that the vehicle module keeps all the information in one place. So we do not have to jump between different sections. All we have to do is open the vehicle module and everything we need is right there. In our previous fleet system, we had to dig through multiple modules to get the full picture on a vehicle. Having everything in one spot works way better for us.

Cons

Getting started with it was a bit rough. We originally went with a custom system since there was not a core model at the time. I was new to my role and had never built or fully managed a fleet system, so I felt lost. On top of that, the Chevin program manager was not very helpful. But once we had the option to switch to the FleetWave core system and shared our struggles, things started to improve. The support we got from Chevin after that was a huge step up, and they really guided us through the process. Even with the rocky start, I'd still pick FleetWave over our previous system.

“Every fleet manager should have this

Pros

FleetWave brings all our fleet data and operations together in one system using different modules. It makes central analysis and reporting much easier. Also it is user-friendly, easy to customize and simple to set up. Plus, important fleet notifications come through SMS or email, which is really convenient.

Cons

It doesn't have built-in map functionality, which is a major drawback. I am hoping that I will see future updates, including vehicle telematics and speed management to turn it into a full fleet management solution.

“Provides the best assistance

Pros

The customer service team is great. They are very helpful and highly knowledgeable. I really appreciate their support.

Cons

One thing I did not like is that bulk updates take way too many repetitive steps which makes the process so lengthy and time consuming than it should be.

“Fits the best for our needs

Pros

FleetWave modules flexibility made it easy to fit into our existing processes while also giving us the option to create new ones. Plus the software's capabilities help us support new workflows and get the most out of it. It is easy to use and navigate and new users can pick it up with minimal training.

Cons

With so many features, it is hard to know if we're using it to its full potential. Even though the high level of customization is great, but it also makes managing the system a little difficult especially when we need support.

It is a highly customizable software which makes it a great fit for our needs.

Cons

Everything has to be customized, even for the most basic needs, which kind of annoys me.

“Simple to use!

Pros

Not only is it simple and easy to use, but it also has useful and key features like vehicle, journey and fuel management. Also their implementation team was really supportive in helping us customize it for our organization.

Cons

The initial train the trainer sessions did not cover all the tools, features and capabilities. So even after a year of using it, there are still parts of the system I don't fully understand. Creating customized reports and KPIs is also tough mainly if you are not familiar with SQL.

“Older system works better than this

Pros

It is hard to say anything positive because just when I start enjoying it, I run into another issue.

Cons

Customer support and troubleshooting is not that great as I expected. Issues get reported but nothing really seems to get fixed.

“Truly exceptional

Pros

Everything works well, except for the odometer history. There is no way for me to get a clear picture of the data, which is frustrating.

Cons

The Job Card Module, Vehicle Module, Fuel Analysis and Reports are all useful features, but I feel like they could be more streamlined.

“Responsive and supportive

Pros

Its powerful report-writing tool allows CBVC to generate all kinds of custom reports to match the needs of our individual customers, which has proven really beneficial for us.

Cons

Early development phase took a long time, and the user interface was not the best. However it has improved since then, but still not how I wanted it to be.
