“Easy to work with
Pros
PortPro is new yet modern and keeps up with today's tech, especially with its AI features. Also it is built for growth and works well with current trends. One of the things that stands out to me is that it's browser-based as it makes it so easy to access and work. The driver app is great too and the Customer Portal is even better. Honestly, there is a lot that I love about it.
Cons
Well it is clearly built for single-terminal motor carriers and then modified for multi-terminal ones. However even after this transition, some key features still do not fully work for multi-terminal MCs. It also has some basic logic issues, like allowing the same equipment to be duplicated and only supporting data uploads for creating new entries, not updating existing ones. The terminology can be confusing too as they use import terms like "Consignee" for both cargo receivers and shippers or calling export cargo loading "Delivery." Another issue is that if my company shares a client with other PortPro users, we can't grant that client portal access using their preferred email. It has to be different for each of us. These were unexpected issues for a platform that outperforms many alternatives in other ways. Hopefully, fixing these won't take a backseat to adding new features.

“Hands down the best TMS option
Pros
It makes managing orders simple as it guides you through the entire order process. From day one, the onboarding team took all the time needed to get us fully set up and trained. The transition to the Customer Service team was smooth, and they have been awesome. Huge shoutout to them for always checking in and making sure our experience stays the best!
Cons
Executive level roll up reporting is still in the works just needs to be finalized and published. Also I think the addition of a stronger financial AP process would be a great improvement, as it will make it perfect.

“Highly user-friendly
Pros
The best thing about PortPro software is how intuitive it is. Everything from buttons, options, checkboxes and much more are placed in a way that makes it flow naturally and easy to use. I rely on it every hour for dispatching and managing accounts, and it is perfect for daily operations.
Cons
There were some glitches at the start, but those got sorted out. For now, to me the biggest improvement areas would be expanding fleet management to include daily driver inspections, maintenance logs for mechanics and compliance expiration reminders. Also, making reports easier to use would be great as of now, pulling data is either too complicated or doesn't work properly, and there is no option for automatic reports like weekly or monthly summaries.

“Great fit for drayage needs
Pros
PortPro layout and filters are very user-friendly and the system is also highly customizable. Plus their team is always available and happy to help with any questions we have.
Cons
The only complaint is that it was not available in the market earlier.

“A tech-savvy TMS that stands out
Pros
Being able to link port logins through an API to check container and shipment status is prove highly beneficial for us. Also the AI scrapping feature cuts down on data entry time, saving us time and effort.
Cons
PortPro software goes beyond just dispatching, which makes it a bit too advanced for many. So the way I found the best is to make sure each team member attend training sessions that match their role. For example dispatchers for dispatch, accountants for accounting, etc. Also, at least two managers who oversee different teams should go through the full training.

“Gets better with every update
Pros
One thing I really like is the ability to assign moves to a driver without instantly dispatching them. The customer portal also gives clients great visibility, so we do not get bombarded with as many emails.
Cons
Its driver app was quite different from our previous software, which made onboarding a bit difficult for us. But once we got some hands-on experience using it in the office, we were able to help the drivers navigate their workflows more easily.

“Easy to use and set up
Pros
It is simple, highly user-friendly and easy to set up and use. Even though we are still fine tuning everything, but once we've got all the features dialed in, I am confident every 4 star rating will turn into a 5 star. And I must say PortPro's customer service is unbeatable. They respond quickly and work hard to solve any issue. Plus this system has given me the freedom and confidence to manage my business from anywhere.
Cons
Well for now we are working on a few small customizations to make it fit our needs. But overall, we have no complaints. The transition to it was smooth and quick.

“Makes tracking simple
Pros
Not only is it user-friendly but also makes tracking simple for us. Also the order entry is quick and easy, whether done manually or through AI.
Cons
The mass upload/order entry feature only allows one entry at a time which is little annoying and the CSV function takes too long to process. In a fast-paced environment, speed is everything. Also, mass downloads require running an Excel sheet, but on some screens, the option is not even available.

“Top-notch software
Pros
PortPro has completely changed the drayage industry. I have so much to list, but for now just highlight a few things. Firstly the empty return location updates automatically every day, which saves us a lot of time. Also AI-generated loads has benefitted us a lot. Even customers can track shipments with live GPS, reducing unnecessary emails and calls we used to receive before. And there is even more.
Cons
The only thing I do not like about it is that it only came out two years ago. I wish it had launched sooner.

What stands out the most is its functionality. And everything we need from receiving to dispatching and completing work orders, all in one place, making our workflow seamless.
Cons
Anything we have asked to improve has been getting better over time. It gives us a confidence that we had made a right choice and the team actually listens to feedback and does their best to help their customers.
