“Changes to how Towbook handles invoice
Pros
What I really like is how easy the software is to use, especially when it comes to handling transport and towing tasks. The layout and functionality just make everything simple.
Cons
Customer support really went downhill in 2023. It feels like the company cares more about cutting down how much time they spend with customers than actually giving us a good product. What really got to me is how they flat-out refused to change our call numbers in the system even though they've done it for over 4 years and promised it again in 2023. We wanted the numbers to match the calendar year like 2300001 and so on. Honestly, the only explanation I can think of is laziness or some efficiency push by someone trying to cut costs and staff. It's just a bad situation for small businesses like ours. Now we're stuck deciding if we should stick with this or move on.

“Glad I chose this!
Pros
It's super easy to create and assign a dispatch. One of my favorite things is how Towbook connects to our QuickBooks. I did a ton of research and even spoke to other towing companies before deciding. I can't believe I waited so long before trying the free trial! Their support is awesome , there's a chat button whenever you need help, plus you can email or call. But honestly, we haven't needed much help because the system is just that user-friendly. Thanks, Towbook!
Cons
I like color! I really think it'd be super helpful to have more color-coded choices in the call sections, it'd make spotting things way easier for me.

“Reliable Software
Pros
I love the GPS feature and how easily it connects to our roadside provider network. It just makes things so much smoother.
Cons
We love pretty much everything about this software. They're always updating it to meet what their customers need and that's something we really appreciate.

“Top towing software out there
Pros
It is seriously easy to use and it's completely changed how we run our business. We can now keep track of what our drivers are doing and figure out the most efficient way to use our trucks. It's helped us respond faster and safer. The design reminds me of popular social media sites, so it feels familiar and easy to navigate. Support is super easy to reach any time, through chat, phone or email and the answers we get actually help solve problems fast.
Cons
Whenever there's an outage, it pretty much stops everything for us. It's tough when it happens but thankfully the outages don't last too long. I also like how the support team is upfront about how long the outage will be.

“Why this fits our needs perfectly
Pros
It's super simple to use. I can run plates to get VINs and uploading photos is a breeze. Everything's set up to make the user experience smooth and stress-free, definitely a big plus.
Cons
Sometimes the maps are off and send our drivers miles in the wrong direction which makes us late getting to the customer. That's a real headache.

Pros
This is awesome for dispatching. It's easy to send tow calls to other team members and I use it to help with pricing and keeping track of our daily logs.

“Really happy I chose this
Pros
I really like how customizable it is. It fits right into our operations without a hitch. The customer service team is always on point , helpful, friendly and fast. The updates they roll out keep making things better and more efficient. I also really appreciate being able to create custom letters and having unlimited users without extra costs. That's a big deal for us!

“Close enough to perfect for me
Pros
What's not to like? I haven't run into any issues at all. The team is always there to help, just a click away and they make you feel like you're talking to a friend. Between the awesome customer service and the way the software streamlines our whole business, I honestly can't think of a downside even if you put me under pressure.
Cons

“This one stands out
Pros
I wish I could give more than 5 stars for their customer service. They're always available when I need help and always have the right answers. Their support is top-notch and the software itself has helped me run my business way more efficiently than the old paper and pen system.
Cons
I wouldn't change a single thing. Everything just works the way I need it to.

“Keeps everything in one spot
Pros
I found out about this through one of my vendors and we absolutely love it. It's super easy to use and gives real-time updates on where things stand. They even send invoices through the system, so there's no risk of overpaying or underpaying. I've been recommending it to other tow vendors because it's made such a difference for us!
Cons
If a vendor doesn't update their pricing info, that part stays missing which is a bit of a pain. I also wish there was some kind of chat feature built in either to talk to the provider or the driver directly.

“Best dispatch tool I've used so far
Pros
It is really user-friendly, works in the cloud, lets us have unlimited users and connects with big names like Allstate, NSD, Tesla and more through the Digital Dispatch API. It keeps getting better with new updates too. The built-in GPS is another awesome feature. Customer service is available 24/7 , we've reached out whenever we needed to and they always respond quickly usually in under 5 minutes.
Cons
Nothing to complain about! This software's been great for us.

Pros
It's just so easy to use and understand. We really like that we can customize almost everything to fit our company's needs. And their customer service? It's unbeatable. Everyone is so kind, professional and helpful even when we ask silly questions!
Cons
The only thing I'd point out is the Impound section. Adding files there feels a bit clunky and I wish the notes showed up closer to the impound info. Would make things smoother.

Pros
What I like most is how simple it is to use. I also love that it's cloud-based, so we can manage all our locations in one place, in real-time. I appreciate how responsive the team is to developing new features and they actually listen to user suggestions. Everyone I've interacted with at Towbook is someone I'd be happy to work with at my own company, they're that good.
Cons
I seriously have zero complaints. Can't knock the cost, the value or even how easy it was to set up. They could've called it "Dispatch Software for Dummies" and I'd say that's spot on in a good way.

Pros
Towbook is super easy to use and I've got to say, their customer service team is amazing. They're always helpful and quick to respond.
Cons
It's a bit difficult to trying to look up past vehicles in the dispatching and completed sections. It could definitely be more user-friendly there.

“Hands down the best support I've had
Pros
Overall, it's really easy to use , I only needed a bit of explanation to get going. I feel like they're moving in the right direction with the programming. People kept recommending this to me and I now see why , the customer service is a huge part of it. For example, I had an issue and they immediately created a task ticket, told me they were working on it and kept me updated. They even let me know when the case would be closed but promised to reach back once it was fixed. Their communication is excellent and I really appreciate that they're available 24/7 especially since I do most of my paperwork late at night.
Cons
Honestly, it depends who you're working with. For example, the Autoclub NSD is super limited, like you can only use it for dispatching. No auto billing or payment tracking because of their restrictions (not Towbook's fault but still annoying since I was told otherwise). We have to treat NSD more like a shop account, which is time-consuming with their high volume. On the flip side, for other Autoclubs, the auto billing and payment features in Towbook are amazing. We even get compliments on how professional our invoices and statements look. There are some parts of the site that require a lot of back and forth between tabs that I think could be improved with some programming tweaks. And even though they have tons of reports, I wish there was an option to create and save a custom report that suits my business, instead of digging through a hundred Excel sheets I don't need right now. But overall, it's a solid product and hands down the best customer service I've experienced.
