“Never worked, caused chaos, no refund
Pros
The system never worked as advertised. It caused complete chaos for our operations. They won't respond to emails or issue a refund. I strongly advise against trusting this company.
Cons
It simply never worked. The software sent out confirmation emails with double the actual price. The onboarding process was so flawed that we lost our existing reservations. It couldn't even handle something as basic as storing our business hours correctly.

“Easy to use and stable
Pros
In my experience, the tool is easy to use, the customer service is excellent, it's very stable, making routine changes is simple and it's easy to create new activities.
Cons
The only real criticism I have is that there's no way to flag a customer profile to prevent them from booking future services.

Cons
Even though it has a lot of features, it's very complicated to set anything up. There are way too many menus and options to click through just to create a simple activity. Booking tours isn't as easy as on other platforms and there's no functional calendar view. Their online knowledge base is nice when it helps but sometimes it gives strange instructions and then customer support tells me not to do it that way. Also their mobile app still doesn't show tour availability when you're trying to book something� and they've been �fixing� that for at least four months now.

“great support but clunky interface
Pros
I consistently get help from the same support people and they've usually been able to resolve critical system issues. It keeps all our bookings organized in one place and we can customize the parameters for each individual trip. I also like that we can add rental items to an activity. Another nice touch is that when I get signed out from inactivity, logging back in returns me right to the page I was working on.
Cons
When I create a new activity, I have to have already created a pricing code for it since there's no way to just click and add a new price on the spot. I have to open a separate window, go to the pricing section and create it there. There are just too many options, which makes Zaui really difficult for a new person to learn. It would be great if you could customize which features are visible to simplify the interface. For example, I only use the direct HTML link to embed the booking page into my website but every time I have to go through multiple clicks to get it, it never stays as my default. Even better would be if, after saving an activity, the link would just pop up right there so I don't have to go searching for it each time. If I have another window open with my trips, I have to refresh it every time I add something new, which resets everything. The system is slow, clunky, doesn't autosave and the save button should be at the bottom of the page too, not just the top. A lot of things feel more frustrating than they should be.

“separate systems cause confusion
Pros
The inventory system is easy to use especially for managing rentals. It saves us from having to count our stock manually every day during the busy season.
Cons
It's annoying that Zaui Do and Zaui Stay are still two completely separate systems. It'll be so much easier when they're fully integrated.

“Simple tool with great reports
Pros
System is simple and well laid out. The reports include everything our accountant needs like tracking unearned revenue and gift certificate balances.
Cons
It used to be really difficult to look up gift certificate balances, it was a multi-step process. But we asked if they could simplify it and they actually had their developers build a new feature! Now the balance pops up as soon as you enter the gift certificate number during payment. That was awesome.

Pros
It's easy to use, the training and support are exceptional and most importantly, the interface and the product itself are unmatched. I've tested several booking systems and this one is far superior to the others. It's easy to integrate with other tools and the reporting is useful for many different needs.
Cons

I think it's fairly easy to integrate but I think the waiver feature should be included directly in Zaui, similar to how Checkfront does it.
Cons
Integration is always tricky and I feel like some basic integrations should really be included by default.

“Fast setup and easy use
Pros
The incredibly fast setup and how easy it is for our frontline staff to use are huge advantages. The onboarding and support teams are very responsive and go the extra mile. We're also impressed by the number of features available that we can grow into in the future.
Cons
It would be nice if we could disable or further customize certain parts of the software. We use Zaui for a free tour, but there's no way to remove all the dollar amounts and checkout language, even on the customer's side. I know we're probably in the tiny minority with this request but they've at least noted it for now.
