“Reliable backup from anywhere”

Pros

With it user data can be backed up without interrupting or bothering end users at all. It gives us the flexibility to schedule data recovery anytime and from anywhere. If a user's system stops working, we're still able to restore and provide the data directly from the backend.

Cons

The front end is not very user-friendly.

“Provides helpful charts and reports”

Pros

Right from the start, backing up and restoring servers and server files felt pretty simple to use. We were able to learn a lot of the platform on our own just by exploring and testing things out. It also provides a lot of helpful charts and reports that give good visibility into the different servers we have protected.

Cons

Now and then I run into a feature that feels like it should be located in one section but instead I have to click through several areas to find it somewhere else. It's not a major problem but I do hope the interface gets improved at some point.

“responsive support”

Pros

It is easy to handle and the interface is simple to use. Whenever help is needed, support is available and the service team responds quickly.

Cons

The system crashes fairly often. The outages are usually temporary but they still happen at least twice a month.

“Backup that always delivers”

Pros

More times than I care to admit it has come through for me when I needed to recover something I'd lost. It's also pretty simple to use which has been a nice bonus on top of that.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. I've only used the end-user side, where I just log in and retrieve missing files and that's really all I need. Since I haven't handled the admin side, I can't speak to what managing it is like.

“No data loss”

Pros

Before moving everything over to a new laptop, it let me back up the data from my tablet without any trouble. The setup and backup process were fairly simple and all of my information came through without any data loss.

Cons

While the backup was actively running, I couldn't open or use most of my files. It only went on for about 15 to 20 minutes though so it wasn't a serious problem.

“Cloud-based system”

Pros

This backup solution has been very simple to work with and the fact that it's cloud-based on AWS is a big plus. It lets you monitor all workstation and server backups from a single place and if a disaster happens, you can get systems back online within minutes. I also appreciate being able to set backup schedules for either the full workstation/server or just specific folders and directories.

Cons

I'm still using the trial version at the moment and up to now I haven't run into any issues or complaints.

“Data stays safe”

Pros

One of the biggest benefits is the peace of mind of knowing your data is still safe even if your laptop or PC is lost. I also appreciate the date-based backups since they make it possible to restore the exact version you need without much guesswork.

Cons

It can slow the computer down quite a bit and the restore process takes longer than the backup itself.

“smooth implementation”

Pros

Getting it deployed and configured was very simple and it has been highly reliable in day-to-day use. It also works really well with our domain setup which made the whole implementation feel smooth.

Cons

when something fails users are not notified so problems can go unnoticed unless someone checks manually.

“easy to restore backups”

Pros

From an admin standpoint this has been very simple to use. Restoring backups for users is simple, setting up 2-factor authentication was extremely quick and end users can usually figure out how to restore their own documents and files without needing IT involved. Managing users and running reports is also very convenient.

Cons

I haven't run into anything I dislike about it.

“backs up my work files”

Pros

It reliably does exactly what I need which is continuously back up my work files. Right now it covers my Desktop, Favorites and My Documents folders and that gives me peace of mind. If my system ever crashes, having those files ready to restore would be incredibly useful. I also appreciate that it runs in the background so I don't have to keep remembering to back everything up myself.

Cons

Its frustrating how much memory it uses. It's scheduled to run every 4 hours and since it's backing up about 42GB of data, my computer gets noticeably loud each time, almost like it's about to take off. On top of that because the program stays active the whole time my computer is on, it takes up a fairly large amount of memory even when a backup isn't currently happening. I really wish it worked more quietly, both in terms of noise and system usage.
