Pros
It is a reliable cloud storage platform for handling both small files and large documents, with quick upload and download speeds. It also integrates well with other software which makes saving files to the Egnyte cloud and opening them from there pretty easy. Another thing that works really well is the permission settings since they make it simple to control employee access to specific folders and documents.
Cons
A limitation is that some of the more advanced software programs do not open directly within the tool although that is fairly common with other cloud-based storage tools too. Programs like AutoCAD and similar high-powered applications are examples of software that do not open there.

Egnyte's sharing features make collaboration really easy for our team while still keeping sensitive files protected. Everyone can work easily across different devices without any hassle.
Cons
As the only Mac user on the team I run into some integration issues now and then and the app seems outdated.

Sharing files through this tool has been simple and secure, whether it's with people on our internal team or with outside contacts and partners.
Cons
One limitation is that editing files directly in Microsoft Office apps doesn't work as efficiently as it does with Microsoft's own solutions.

Having detailed folder-level permissions was useful and gave us better control over who could access what.
Cons
The platform felt very restrictive especially with its limited API access. On top of that there seemed to be an unclear limit on file and folder sharing. Every time someone accessed a shared folder, it counted against a limit that was not visible or trackable. That became a real problem during project delivery, when our partners suddenly couldn't download important files and we were stuck waiting for the next billing cycle.

What I like most about Egnyte is that it combines ransomware protection with its core capabilities like cloud storage and file sharing.
Cons
A downside with it is the sync speed since it can take a very long time to sync large files.

Working together on MS documents has been much better with this than with OneDrive or SharePoint which used to cause constant issues for us. On top of that the customer service has been excellent.

Pros
Having so many people already using Egnyte makes collaboration really hassle free. Sharing documents back and forth with coworkers or outside organizations is simple and I don't have to stress about a full desktop screen or running out of storage on my devices when saving and accessing files. Everything stays in a secure environment and only the people I authorize can open the documents I share with them. Keeping all my files in one place and being able to reach them from any device at any time is a huge plus.
Cons
One thing to watch out for is editing a shared file from two different locations at the same time since that can lead to inconsistencies or version conflicts.

Pros
The pre-built templates feel self-explanatory and they work well with a custom LMS using drag and drop and copy paste features to help create polished JavaScript, HTML and XML content. It also handles large file storage and transfers in the cloud really well and the cloud data syncing has been very reliable.
Cons
Honestly calling out a drawback here would feel untrue because I haven't run into one.

Pros
Across our team it is a core part of how we work. It's the place where we keep all of our latest information and everyone on the team can access what they need. The part I like most is the security it provides. There's real peace of mind in knowing our company data is kept in a protected space that only team members can get into.
Cons
One area where it could improve is moving between folders. It would be much more convenient to jump directly to another folder instead of having to go back through the home screen first. Aside from that, I really don't have any complaints as it has been a very valuable tool for our company.
