Not what I expected

Pros

The idea behind their ESG strategy was outstanding. And our company was eager to discover a way to optimize our data and boost our ESG investments. But we faced a lot of disappointment later.

Cons

Overall the platform felt somewhat unfinished if it was quickly assembled by someone with a rushed business idea. We ran into several bugs and ultimately we felt it did not provide enough value to justify our investment.

Pretty amazing tool

Pros

Sypher is a flexible tool for personal data mapping that we use with clients to manage personal data processing records in line with GDPR Article 30. Plus importing records from previous data mapping efforts is simple. It also provides a highly customizable on-premise implementation. And the support is prompt, easy to reacha and they are very open to feedback for product improvement.

Cons

The product offers several features such as managing data subject requests and asset management which we do not use. This is either because other teams or applications handle these tasks or because GDPR implementation is a complex process for many companies. Additionally the implementation for data processors could be enhanced.
