Data security failure

Pros

I can't point to any positive feature of this software.

Cons

After a data leak, guests started receiving scam phishing messages on WhatsApp and I was one of them. The attempt looked very convincing which makes it even more concerning. Now I'm frustrated that I have to stay alert for scam calls, emails and WhatsApp messages going forward. Because the data clearly isn't secure, I won't book again with any company that uses this software.

offers smooth booking

Pros

Coordinating Booking.com and Airbnb calendars during Covid was a real headache for us. Even though we only had 7 rooms, switching to Guest Diary made a huge difference. Once we moved over everything ran smoothly and took a lot of stress out of managing bookings. I'd definitely recommend it.

Cons

This isn't really a downside but I'd suggest having a couple of hours of on-site personal training at the start so it's easier to get familiar with the system.

fantastic support team

Pros

Opening our doors in April, we found working with it to be an absolute pleasure. They came highly recommended to us and they've completely lived up to that reputation. Dermot and the team are always incredibly fast to reply whenever we need something adjusted or updated which has made a real difference. I'd happily recommend GuestDiary to anyone looking for a dependable channel management service.

Cons

I'd mention a downside if there was one but my experience using it has been completely trouble-free.

excellent tool

Pros

Getting my account up and running was much easier thanks to Dermot. He's been incredibly helpful throughout the setup and whenever I call, he either picks up right away or gets back to me quickly which is really refreshing.

Cons

Nothing to mention here as a con because our experience has been great with it.

Efficient reservation control

Pros

Managing reservations across several channels used to be stressful but their automated online system has taken that pressure away completely. It saves me a huge amount of time and now I can focus on growing the business instead of getting stuck in admin. Their customer service is excellent as well getting in touch with them is easy and they deal with any issues that come up very efficiently. Really impressive company with an excellent team behind it.

I haven't come across a single drawback to point out in this tool

Trusted hospitality platform

Pros

After five years of using this tool, we're still happy to stick with it because the support team has been outstanding and incredibly quick to help. Everything has been excellent, from the easy account setup to the website design and the way it works day to day. In hospitality having this kind of reliable support really matters and they consistently deliver. I'd highly recommend it.

user-friendly product

Pros

It has made managing bookings much more simple. The system is very user-friendly and whenever any issue comes up, customer support responds quickly with helpful advice. I'd absolutely recommend it.

Cons

Positive experience with support team

Pros

This has been incredibly simple to deal with and no request ever feels like too much trouble. Whenever something comes up, usually because our our own user mistakes, to be fair they're always available by phone or email and quick to help us get things sorted. If you want to make your booking process simpler, I'd absolutely recommend them.

stress-free booking management

Pros

Joined this platform in 2025 and the whole setup moved along quickly and without any problem. Everything was up and running within just a few days. It has really taken the pressure off managing bookings and the website they built for my business is already bringing in revenue. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a channel manager.

Pros

Amazing and really convenient to use. The service has been excellent, the staff is helpful and their response time is very quick. Definitely recommended.
