“Gets the job done well
Pros
Overall it gets the job done and I can tell when my team members are actually working.
Cons
The installation process really threw me off especially when I had to reinstall. Plus the web interface is equally frustrating and I'd like to be able to view people's screens without paying extra charges.

“Interface was easy to navigate
Pros
For the most part the interface was really easy to navigate and I went from knowing nothing about the portal to feeling comfortable jumping right into the reports.
Cons
I liked the wide range of reports and features but I found it nearly overwhelming to try to sort through all of it at times.

“Monitors a wide range of metrics
Pros
What I really like is the ability to monitor a wide range of metrics such as websites visited, overall utilization, drops in productivity and periods of prolonged idle time. I can also tell whether my team is actively using the workflow tools we've provided and spot when people access unauthorized sites like social media during work hours.
Cons
Right now I have no cons to share as the product gives me everything I currently require.

“excellent for team development
Pros
ActivTrak has been an excellent tool for keeping tabs on my team's productivity. I have been able to define parameters and perform on the spot audits which has really helped with my team's development and also measure progress over time.
Cons
I would not say it's my biggest concern but I do wish there was a way to archive screen activity like even basic snapshots so we could review them later rather than having to rely solely on live monitoring.

The hours reporting is simply amazing and I can view my team's screens when needed.
Cons
Honestly the app is very buggy and does not always work. So I wouldn't call it fully reliable or accurate.

“pretty perfect for monitoring remote staff
Pros
It has been an excellent way to monitor the productivity of our remote staff and it even helps me figure out when someone has left without clocking out. Basically being able to confirm that offsite employees are staying productive has been really valuable to us.
Cons
If we exceed our licensed user count, the data stops showing up which is annoying during busy periods.
