Pros

I have used the job board quite a bit over time and have seen some activity. Such as a few people applied to my listings but I still have not found a candidate who's a perfect fit. I mean they apply quickly but many don't have the right skills, so I was not able to move forward with anyone. That said, the portal itself was easy and enjoyable to use as posting jobs was simple and responses came fast. Overall, I'd rate Betterteam's job posting platform a solid 9 out of 10.

Overall it is a geat tool and I don't really have any complaints.

I've had suitable applicants respond to our posting and I appreciate the way candidates are organized. As having each applicant categorized makes managing them much easier.

During our first week using the app, my team and I couldn't actually find a single feature that we disliked or wanted to remove.

Finding CVs is quick and the interface is user-friendly with instant options that make hiring easy for me.

I wouldn't call it an ATS at this stage. In my view it still needs to add basic capabilities like editable email templates, defined recruiting workflows and tools for hiring-team collaboration before it could be labeled an applicant tracking system. At the moment it only works if I am managing candidates with a spreadsheet for a small number of open roles.

I've been having a good experience so far as setup was simple and interacting with the system has been pretty easy too.

At one point, after they reached out to me, I tried emailing a specific customer support representative several times and didn't get any reply which made me briefly question whether the company was taking things seriously. Thankfully after a few days the problem was eventually sorted out and every other interaction I've had with their team has been positive.

Posting jobs here is quick and easy. Also I find it much less of a hassle compared to other sites.

I do sometimes have to wait for a job post to be approved but it's not a huge problem and I can work around it.

This tool is easy to use and I find it effective for reaching potential team members while keeping everyone neatly organized in a single location.

Nothing too major but I'd love for the platform to show which job board an applicant used to discover our listing so I don't have to ask them directly.

I like that it filters applicants and sends the relevant resumes straight to my email.

However, I found that it does not filter out candidates by location. For example, people who lived outside the city or country were not automatically rejected so I still have to review applications manually to spot those resumes.

Well I have had a very productive experience with Betterteam's platform during my trial and I plan to keep using it whenever we have new jobs to post.

Cons

No complaints to share from my side at the moment.
