modeling tool needs improvements

Pros

The mein Talentsoft dashboard is really user-friendly for our team. As right away you can see things like training options and annual review forms.

Cons

The modeling tool in the performance module is pretty complicated to use. Also we cannot delete organizational units directly as they have to be overwritten through an import which feels clunky.

Well-known but inaccessible and insecure

Pros

It is a well-known solution in the market that works with lots of other tools like employee referrals, multi-posting and assessments. The consultants are great too and you can do regular audits to find ways to improve. Overall the platform is smartly built for companies with multiple brands or subsidiaries, since we can easily adjust settings for each one. Also it works globally thanks to multi-language support.

Cons

This ATS was not very accessible for managers and operational staff. We wanted our hiring managers to be able to post jobs and handle applications on their own but TalentSoft's licensing model made that too expensive. The system also was not user friendly enough for managers to use easily. There were data security issues too such as applications were emailed to managers who could view CVs via a link without logging in which was not GDPR compliant. The candidate experience was disappointing, with no mobile-friendly option. Our career site was not responsive and API integration would have cost $20 to 25K. Since 70% of applicants use mobile devices, we were losing candidates. Managers also could not access the system on their phones to review applications while in stores, warehouses or on the go. Performance tracking for job boards was outdated too and we'd have to pay an extra 10K for a useful analytics feature. When issues came up, the ticketing system was slow so we rarely got same-day responses.

comprehensive tool

Pros

Cegid Talentsoft covers everything from employee relations and hiring to onboarding, payroll and so much more for us.

Cons

The two biggest challenges people mentioned were related to cost, compliance, well-being and ease of use.

Limited for manage large data

Pros

What I like most about it is how easy it is to use. You can access it through the website, a browser extension or a mobile app. Also it is a solid platform for handling HR tasks at a smaller company and I have not run into any glitches.

Cons

As I said earlier it works fine for basic HR tasks but it is not great for handling large volumes of candidate profiles. We had to integrate it with other tools like Darwinbox, HelloVerify and Zoho Attendance to manage full employee records.

Useful features but needs smoother rollout

Pros

The software has a lot of useful features and is simple to navigate. But rolling it out to our staff was tougher than expected. So I think the system could use a smoother workflow to improve the experience for employees.

Cons

I feel like it could really use a smoother workflow to make the experience better for employees.

super user-friendly and great value

Pros

It is super user-friendly and you definitely get your money's worth. Honestly I would say it offers even more value than the price suggests.

Cons

There are not any major issues with it. It might feel a little tricky at first like anything new but by the second time you use it, everything starts to feel much easier.

customizable but not simple to use

Pros

We only use the e-learning platform which is highly customizable with plenty of options and automation. While you can set up effective processes, the initial configuration does take some time. But also you can schedule automatic reminder emails, create custom documents and set up recurring report exports with ease.

Cons

The e-learning development software is efficient overall but sometimes it feels heavy and slow. Also the SaaS alternative does not offer enough customization. We have run into recurring issues a few times and although support tries their best, responses can sometimes take too long.
