“outdated and overpriced rewards
Pros
Milestone features are fairly standard but there are several gift options available so there's still a good amount of variety to pick from.
Cons
system comes across as pretty old-fashioned and employees don't really receive the full value of the gift. It also feels somewhat expensive and the platform isn't very convenient for either employees or administrators to use.

“Thoughtful and meaningful program
Pros
The personal touch from everyone who helped build the program really came through. It was clear a lot of care and effort went into making it feel meaningful and special for our employees.
Cons
only drawback was the amount of time it took to get the program set up and working exactly the way it should.

Recognizing our employees is incredibly simple with this. Birthdays stay organized and the shoutout feature lets coworkers celebrate each other which has made a real difference in strengthening the culture.

Right from the start the account team was incredibly responsive and coordinated really well. I worked with Michelle Nedved on refreshing our anniversary awards this year and she was a huge help with design concepts and artwork. Then Crystal Smith stepped in to manage the order and made sure everything arrived on time for our awards dinner. I'm really pleased with the updated designs and how well the entire process went.

I honestly can't think of any drawbacks my experience has been excellent all around.

Pros
A Terryberry award has become one of those things our team genuinely gets excited about each year. We started the program a few years ago and it's turned into a meaningful way to recognize years of service and show appreciation in a tangible form. It's also a big plus that employees can pick their own gift from the catalog which means they're more likely to receive something they actually want. On the company side, being able to set service milestones and assign a budget to each level has made planning and rewarding people much more manageable.
Cons
If there's one thing we'd still want to see improved, it would be a wider range of reward choices. Some categories are well stocked but we'd love to have more variety available across different price points.

From an admin standpoint, you can pretty much handle everything on your own which gives you a lot of control.
Cons
Over the years, we've shared quite a bit of feedback that still hasn't been resolved, especially around funding issues and reports failing. That said, it does sound like those problems may finally be addressed soon.

I'm really impressed by how fast the their team gets back to emails and they're super flexible when I need to schedule calls. Even when someone's out of the office or on vacation, another team member always steps in to help. That kind of service is amazing and something I really appreciate. The platform looks fantastic and has a lot of useful functionality. I especially appreciate the different ways to recognize people, the points system and the partnership with Ashley DiNorcia and Sari Hughes.
Cons
There have been quite a few errors with reporting and funding and we usually don't notice them until a user brings them up. Unfortunately, most of those issues take a while to get resolved, so it often feels like we're the ones identifying the problems and reporting them back.

One thing that makes this program worthwhile is the no-contract setup. It keeps things flexible and makes it feel like a really good deal overall.
