Great help and fit for us

Pros

I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the customer service and implementation went, they put in a lot of customization to make sure the solution fit our needs.

Cons

At this point it's too early for me to judge since we haven't fully migrated to Crelate, but so far I like the product and I'm looking forward to getting deeper into the new system.

Doubled our team without more staff

Pros

crelate is an exceptional partner for our organization. From the initial setup through ongoing support, their team has been very responsive to our requests, handling issues quickly and efficiently. The platform itself is interactive and simple to use, which helped our team double our recruiting and onboarding throughput without hiring more people. We couldn't have achieved this pace of growth without Crelate.

Cons

The one drawback I've noticed with Crelate is that its data is split across separate tables, so report generation is limited to a single table at a time (Contacts, Placements, Opportunities). That said, our team worked around this by integrating Power BI, which let us combine the datasets for reporting and effectively rendered the limitation irrelevant for our needs.

excellent support and simple to use

Pros

I really appreciate the customer support, the level of customization and how simple it is to use. At the minimum, I feel reassured that if I face a problem, our support representative is just a quick phone call away and she consistently steps in to assist.

Cons

A few automation-related features could definitely use some improvement. That said, whenever I've put automation tools into practice they often create as many problems as the time they're supposed to save, so I'm cautious about relying on them too heavily in day-to-day work.

Easy and custom with great support

Pros

The interface is extremely user-friendly and the customer support is outstanding, I appreciate that we can customize it to match our workflow.

Cons

I'm still getting the hang of how reporting works but I'm making progress, I also wish I could configure internal group email lists for distribution.

good for tracking candidates and progress

Pros

I love that I can organize recruitment data by each candidate's progress, which makes tracking far easier. I'm also able to tailor it to my needsfiltering for particular companies and specific job postings. In my experience it's definitely worth the price. I like that it supports logos or markers for milestones and lets me add comments and notes during interviews. It also enforces single-user login sessions.

Cons

Personally I've noticed the interface is dated and could use a more modern refresh. Also, I would like to see integrations with other enrichment tools added to improve connectivity.

Great care from start to end

Pros

From Sales through Onboarding and Training, I experienced consistent customer care, punctuality, precision and responsiveness throughout the process at every step.

Cons

I couldn't change Pik List options after migrating our data, having a tool to easily update those settings would be very useful.

Has all we need,

Pros

I'm really impressed by how comprehensive it is, I haven't come across a feature I needed that's missing. Working with Lauren was a pleasure, she's fantastic!

Cons

I don't have much to criticize. it performed smoothly and left us satisfied. Of course there will be inevitable hiccups when migrating between systems and you expect some bumps along the way, but overall I find Crelate to be excellent.

top support and training

Pros

I truly appreciated the customer service and hands-on support from the Product Consultant, throughout the whole process, she spared us many hours of frustration with her deep expertise and top-notch training.

Cons

the main limitation was that I couldn't change a job from one category to another (for example, from non-timekeeping to timekeeping) without having to start the setup all over again.

easy to post jobs

Pros

I like being able to post job openings across multiple platforms.

Cons

I find it much simpler to track candidates using an Excel spreadsheet where I can list names, job orders, interview stages and my noteshaving everything laid out in front of me on a single sheet works better for my workflow.

Powerful but high price for new

Pros

At first I struggled to find my way around Crelate because of my own learning curve but I quickly realized it's a very powerful, feature-packed platform with a lot to offer. Customer support was easy to reach and tackled my issues quickly and their quick replies made getting up to speed far less painful. Overall, I find the system solid and thoughtfully built for managing workflows efficiently.

Cons

For a new start-up, the price is high to me at first, that said, I believe the depth of features and support often make the cost worthwhile for companies that need a complete, end-to-end solution.

best for fast moves and dashboards

Pros

As a recruiter, I've found it an exceptionally powerful tool. Its interface is interactive and easy to use, which made getting up to speed much simpler than with other systems I've tried. I especially like the LinkedIn plugin since it makes moving candidate details over fast and the configurable dashboards give me the flexibility to keep everything neatly organized at a glance.

Cons

One small issue I have is that I must be signed into Crelate to know when a new message comes in, it would be much more convenient if notifications worked even when I'm not actively logged into the app.

Cut work time in half

Pros

I've noticed it can ingest huge amounts of data without breaking a sweat and hooks up smoothly with most third-party apps, which cuts down on tedious administrative work. Best of all, when I pair its strong search capabilities with automated email, text and phone workflows, it lets me manage an entire desk in roughly half the time.

Cons

exported data comes as raw ZIP archives that I have to merge manually after downloading.

Looks good but support is bad

Pros

Beyond how it looks, that's all it had going. I found the left and top tabs interactive, but anything past the Home screen became quite messy with unclear training and old videos.

Cons

I've experienced poor customer support. There is never a person to speak with when I call, leaving a message usually gets no response and if someone does reply it's at least 48 hours later. The chat bot keeps sending links that don't fix my issue and during training the instructor often dodges my questions or gives a political answer instead of practical help.

poor phone app

Pros

I rely on its internal tracking to keep track of every activity related to both candidates and companies.

Cons

On my phone, the mobile app shows far less information than the web portal and when I want to view a resume I have to download the file to my device.

Wish I started with Crelate first

Pros

I wish I had chosen Crelate from the beginning. I ended up picking the other system which boasted tons of features but wasn't alignd, so it was difficult to take advantage of everything it offered. Crelate, on the other hand, packs a lot of useful tools and keeps the interface interactive and approachable. Starting out with it would have completely changed the game for me.

Cons

It would be really helpful if there were an additional follow-up call about a month after onboarding even if it's a paid option just to confirm everything is running smoothly. The initial check-in right after the switch is useful but new questions often surface once you've been using the platform daily and settled into your workflow. My primary reason for initially choosing the other ATS was that they offered similar pricing but allowed more user seats. If Crelate had offered a lower-cost option for part-time or admin-level access, I probably would have stayed with them from the outset instead of moving to that other provider. Even a simple, inexpensive subscription tier for limited users would have made a big difference in our decision-making process. I can see how that kind of flexibility would appeal to a lot of smaller teams.

Does everything a recruiter needs

Pros

For a recruiter like me, it literally does everything I need, I find it indispensable, simple to use and offers a very clear, interactive user experience.

Cons

I have to cover the cost out of my own pocket which is not ideal, but personally I think it's absolutely worth the price.

Easy, custom search, good help

Pros

Overall, I'm impressed by how easy it is to use, I also love the customization options, the search works really well and their customer service is both helpful and fast.

Simple with good linkedin tool

Pros

using it is simple and I appreciate some of its standout tools for instance, I can quickly update my database while on LinkedIn.

Budget-friendly and customizeable tool

Pros

It's very interactive and simple to use. I appreciate that it's highly customizable without feeling overwhelming. It's budget-friendly, their customer support has been helpful and the layout makes it easy for me to scan information at a glance.

Cons

adding additional users becomes expensive and I've had trouble sending texts from my own phone number. Also, the client portal only allows access for one client at a time and the mobile app is noticeably limited compared to the desktop version.
