“Worth the price”
Pros
I like that it handles ACA stuff smoothly and the pricing isn't bad either and it's pretty competitive compared to what else is out there.
Cons
One downside is that it doesn't work with our restaurant's POS system which can be a headache when trying to keep everything connected.

Pros
It's been very helpful getting all our stores using the same system. I think it'll be even better once our payroll company is fully on board with using Eight too.
Cons
Getting all the stores to consistently use the software the right way has been kind of tough. Some are on board but others still struggle with it.

“Love the support and the upgrades”
Pros
The Arc team's always quick to jump in when we need help. They're friendly and know their way around the system which is awesome if I get stuck. Setting it up was very simple and I love knowing new hires are filling out everything they need to. The docs are stored neatly and I can grab them anytime. Making transfers is simple too. Plus, the tools for tracking employee reviews and raises are actually useful.
Cons
I find it a bit tricky to pull reports and dig into a lot of employee data all at once. The reporting system isn't as smooth as I'd like it to be.

Pros
One of the best things is how it helps us keep up with new hires and their benefits. It's made a huge difference getting employee info from our different locations over to the main office.
Cons
Setting things up in the beginning was a challenge but honestly, that's just how it goes anytime you switch to new software.

“My experience with this tool”
Pros
We've brought in several stores under System 8 and it's gone really smoothly. The support team has been amazing and always tweaking and adding useful stuff. Pulling info to update payroll is no trouble at all. I don't even have to stress about ACA reports or benefits because the system takes care of it. Uploading things to the employee portal is super quick too, so my to-do list feels way less stressful. Honestly it's helped us get more done, faster with fewer people.
Cons
The ACA reporting section could definitely be a little easier to figure out. I mean, we only use it once a year, so it's not something we're super familiar with and that makes it feel more complicated.

Pros
Once I figured out how to use it, I could always check what happened to a document, who worked on it, where it changed and it was all right there and easy to find whenever I needed.
Cons
Using it wasn't always the most obvious at first but the tech support team really came through and helped us out whenever we got stuck.

“Easy to use”
Pros
It doesn't matter if someone's a tech expert or not, it's just simple to use. We can plug in all the new hire info straight into our payroll system which saves us a ton of time. Even direct deposit info gets carried over, so no more mistakes with bank accounts. It's kind of acts like a middleman between our POS system and payroll which is very handy.
Cons
Honestly, anytime I've run into a problem, Rick and his team have jumped right in to get it sorted. I really can't think of anything they didn't help with.

“Quick and super useful”
Pros
It's really handy that there are a bunch of ways to look up an employee and it makes employment verification calls so much quicker. System 8 also helps us stay on top of ACA stuff and tracking benefit estimates. The E-Verify integration is a nice bonus too.
Cons
The only thing I wish was better is how email addresses are handled. Right now, there's no quick way to change them and employees can't do it on their own in the portal either.

I've found the product really easy to figure out and whenever I've needed help, tech support has been awesome. They get back to you fast and are great at adjusting things to fit exactly what we need.
Cons
There's a lot you can tweak in the system which is cool but it also means you've got to work through a ton of configuration options upfront.

Cons
It would be awesome to have an onboarding process that works well on mobile. That's one thing I feel is still missing.
