Smart and well-thought-out product

Pros

Its super quick and simple for candidates to go through and the interface for reviewing results is just as easy. I also love how much you can customize it. The fact that it puts such a strong focus on values really makes a big difference for any organization.

Cons

This didn't take away from the value it offers at all but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the platform design could look a little more modern. That's really just a small thing though.

Boosted our culture in a real way

Pros

What I really like about this tool is its people-first approach. You can tell they lead with DEIB, neuroscience and a solid understanding of how teams work. It has a bunch of tools that help build diverse, high-performing teams and it covers everything from hiring to employee engagement and leadership development. Their DEI focus is legit.

Cons

We've hit a few small glitches here and there but their team always jumps on it fast. Their support has been responsive every time we needed help.

Finally, something that gets DEI right

Pros

I've used a bunch of different survey tools over the years and It's hands down one of the easiest to use. The results are laid out in such a clear, simple way. If I had one suggestion, it'd be adding more display options like word clouds, heat maps or even exports to PowerPoint or Excel. That said, they're already working on adding more features and even better, they've already rolled out things I personally asked for to help support my learners.

Cons

As someone who works in DEI, I've struggled to find inclusive leadership assessments that are actually validated, until I found Fortay. It helps me see where leaders stand, lets them take ownership and also gives me a way to create custom learning paths. Their recommendations are so much more detailed than most tools and they give step-by-step actions, explain the impact and even link to extra resources. It has become one of my go-to tools for supporting clients on their DEI journey.

A full solution, not just for feedback

Pros

Fortay has alot of tools, everything from recruitment to DEI and engagement. It's flexible, easy to tailor and their customer support team is fantastic. Anytime I need help, they're right there.

Cons

Logging in as an admin can be a little glitchy sometimes. It's not a huge deal but worth mentioning.

Best for assessing team fit and soft skills

Pros

It was really simple to use and the insights we got about our candidates were helpful.

Cons

When I was sharing feedback with our leadership, I felt like it would've helped to have some extra training materials on hand. That would've made the whole process smoother.

How DEI and engagement fuel smarter tech moves

Pros

It helped us in so many ways. It boosted productivity and our hard tech teams started delivering better results. It sparked more innovation because people felt connected to their work. And it made a big impact on collaboration. Everyone just works better together now especially on the complex stuff.

Cons

There are a few things that could be improved like export options. It'd be great to have more flexibility when pulling out the data. I also wish auto reports were more flexible and it would help so much when updating stakeholders. Lastly, I think more guided insights would make it easier to take real action on the survey results.

Perfect for adding DEI to the employee journey

Pros

There's just so much to love about it. Their focus on DEI matches our goals perfectly. Everything's easy to use and looks great. It's designed to really drive results and help leaders improve with real-time feedback. You can dig into the data, break it down by demographics and get detailed insights and action steps. The reports are quick to access and you can download the data whenever you want, all while keeping it anonymous. And honestly, their customer success team is next level.

Cons

I can't think of anything negative. They're always asking for feedback and you can tell they're actually working on making things better.

User friendly and full of useful DEIB advice

Pros

Using it has been very easy for me. Their survey library is massive, you can find something for every area of People & Culture. The way it helps with data analysis is a huge time-saver and it made it way easier for us to present clear results to leadership.

Cons

It's constantly improving, so yeah, we've run into a few bugs now and then like sending surveys or Slack integration hiccups. But every time we raised an issue, their team responded quickly and personally followed up. That kind of support goes a long way.

Loved using this survey tool

Pros

I love how easy the reports are to go through. It's a user-friendly tool and the team behind it is amazing and always friendly and helpful whenever we need something.

Cons

The reporting around onboarding and offboarding could use a bit more depth. I would love to see that part of the analysis get stronger.
