“Simple core HR tool without extras
Pros
What I like most about Frappe HR is that it keeps things simple and focuses only on core HR tasks like no unnecessary extras. Plus it covers essentials like employee records, attendance, leave, basic payroll and HR workflows in a clean, easy to use way.
Cons
It lags behind more advanced HR platforms in features and functionality. Also there is a lot of room to grow especially in performance management, talent development and detailed analytics. I have even found that some settings are tricky to set up and customizing workflows or reports often requires technical skills or outside tools.

“easy access with helpful portals
Pros
Frappe HR is very easy to access and use. Also it makes my daily work smoother. Moreover it is efficient and often saves me time too. Setting up accounts for multiple users is also simple which I really appreciate. I also rely on the support portal and attendance portal our organization set up and both have been genuinely helpful.
Cons
I have trouble when I switch between devices as going from the desktop version to mobile web pages often fails or doesn't work reliably.

“Open-source and flexible with quick setup
Pros
It delivered everything we needed without that high price tag. And because it is open-source and extremely flexible, we managed to get it up and running in just a few days. The leave, payroll and employee self-service modules all function together well too. I also liked that custom fields and workflows can be added with minimal coding which made customizing it to our processes simple and hassle-free.
Cons
Well I will admit that the interface feels a bit dated and could use a more polished, modern look but I find it functional and easy to get around. Also it would be great if there were a few more ready-made integrations to plug in.

“Modern interface is better than others
Pros
We rely on it every day for clocking in and out. Also the interface is really moder yet easy to navigate. And yes it functions like other HR systems but I find it noticeably better.
Cons
I have not run into any problems while using it so I have no issues to report at all.
