awsome customer support

Pros

Mack, our point of contact is always quick to respond. He even sets up bi-weekly meetings to go over anything we need help with or have questions about.

Cons

Honestly, no issues so far. I'd love to see them expand to more countries but we already have another third-party service for those.

Smooth invoicing but support needs improvement

Pros

Globalization Partners is super easy to use. It gives different users different levels of access, so everyone can handle their tasks. Invoicing is smooth and adding addendums to contracts is pretty simple too.

Cons

Sometimes, G-P's help desk is not helpful on the first try. I usually have to follow up, re-explain things and identify issues again. But everything gets resolved, I just wish it happened a bit faster.

Different processes across countries

Pros

I think G-P's processes didn't really affect the management side of things. Employees didn't complain about how they were treated and the management was always very transparent.

Cons

I have one employee in Slovakia and one in Greece and it seems like they follow different processes, which is a bit confusing.

helpful employee portal

Pros

The employee portal has everything I need to know about what's available to me. The different sections and portals are really helpful when I need to get tasks done or ask for support.

Cons

no cons so far. Any doubts I've had have been resolved and I've received proper attention.

confusing rules and timing

Pros

Learning about the processes, rules, market and hiring is simple. Our account manager, Graciela has become a trusted advisor who really knows her stuff.

Cons

processes are really complicated and the rules are always changing. The first few months were tough but we are slowly getting to a better place. A lot of the rules were not explained properly or on time.

Simple setup

Pros

The setup was quick and easy and it's simple to make last-minute changes. The pricing plan works with our budget and having access to global teams in our own currency makes everything much easier.

Cons

There was not a detailed consolidated report. There were separate reports and a consolidated one but the consolidated one didn't have much detail.

Fast contract setup

Pros

Setting up contracts is fast and the support team is super reliable.

Cons

UI could be more friendly. I have to click around to find what I need in the employment/contractor files. It would also be great to have better customized permissions for non-admin users like managers who need to view their department but don't make approvals.

Easy pricing info but expensive

Pros

portal is easy to use and you can quickly find pricing for hiring someone in any country.

Cons

It's on the expensive side especially when you are paying people across currencies.

Amazing service but Zoho has glitches

Pros

Lauren is our amazing account manager! She's always supportive, responsive and polite. The HR team is also super helpful and quick to respond whenever a professional has questions. The platform is easy to use and adding new professionals is a smooth process. It has tons of useful resources when we need to check out info on new countries. Our employees were set up really quickly when we switched from our previous provider.

Cons

Zoho could use some improvements. There are quite a few glitches when setting up professionals and their managers. They also have trouble accessing their profiles. Plus the reporting feature can be a bit confusing.

Great payroll management

Pros

We have been using it for over a year to manage payroll across five countries. The platform does a great job handling compliance updates and makes managing different tax systems much easier. The integration with our existing HR tools was seamless and the user interface is super interactive, though onboarding took a bit longer than we expected. Their customer support has been amazing, always resolving issues on time. One standout feature is the real-time analytics and consolidated reporting which has been a game changer for our financial oversight. Payments are always accurate and on time. It's pricier than other options but the comprehensive service and peace of mind are totally worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable global payroll solution.

Cons

there's a tight cutoff for payments and it's tough to change or add payment platforms. It's also hard to find local payroll providers.

Global compliance but exchange rates hurt

Pros

It handles everything for our international employees. We have employees in the US and Europe and we're always confident we are compliant with the specific regulations in their countries. Payments are always on time and they supported us when we had to let go of some employees.

Cons

The management fees are high. We are a Canadian company and our European employees' bills get converted to USD first, which means we end up paying double for the exchange. It'd be nice if we could pay directly in CAD or Euro.

Quick issue resolution and easy to use

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how quickly issues are resolved. The software is easy to use and that makes everything smoother for me.

Cons

There are a few too many emails. Also, there's no phone app, so I have to log in on my PC.
