customizable and great support

Pros

The system is fully customized and very flexible, easily adapting to the company's processes with complete self-configuration. Role permissions are clearly defined and I like the support from the Guidecom team during setup and consultation is outstanding.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that the configuration can be a bit complex but it provides a deep understanding of how the software works. One thing I still miss is the time tracking cap for the Time module once it hits 10 hours but it plans to address this in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Worth the investment

Pros

It provides excellent support for daily tasks, is super easy to use and pretty much explains itself. Plus it can be customized to meet our companys specific needs.

Cons

The price was initially a concern especially since there were cheaper alternatives. However the presentation convinced us and after the first module (Recruiting) was implemented, the practical benefits like time savings and ease of use became clear to us.

Modern but login issues at first

Pros

We were able to integrate many custom templates based on our requirements. Also the application is modern, visually appealing and highly adaptable with many of our processes being digitized through Magellan.

Cons

In the beginning we faced frequent issues with the login process. The responsibilities in user support were also unclear and disorganized at first though this has improved significantly.

customizable with great support

Pros

Well we rely heavily on the service processes in Guidecom Magellan which are highly customizable to fit our company's needs. The process steps are always clear and we can easily track turnaround times. The implementation was also well-supported by them.

Cons

Let me tell you that deeper understanding of Magellan is essential if you don't want to rely on the support all the time.

easy for HR but occasional users get confused

Pros

The modules are highly customizable and flexible, allowing our admins to quickly adapt to changes. Their uniformity makes the onboarding process smooth. Plus the system is easy to use for HR and stays just as user-friendly for those outside of HR with regular use.

Cons

Occasional users sometimes get confused because they are unsure which module to use for specific tasks or information. While the homepage looks different for each module, they can seem similar at first glance due to the module switcher. Plus I feel like data exchange between modules could be improved to avoid having to enter the same data multiple times.
