smooth payroll and feature rich

Pros

There are more features available for employee profiles which is good and the payroll process runs smoothly, helping us stay on track with tasks. The ability to import and export data speeds up both analysis and processing. Plus using the performance management system will improve relations between employees and management.

Cons

GulfHR assigns several techno-functional support consultants who truly understand our needs and deliver results quickly and accurately. However it's important to thoroughly check completed tickets before delivery to avoid any duplication. And I feel like the report processing time particularly for the Payroll Reconciliation Report could be reduced.

easy onboarding but lengthy configuration

Pros

Onboarding is made easy because new hires in our company find the tool simple to navigate and use for all the essential HR services.

Cons

The configuration and implementation process including admin training was lengthy and tiring. But aside from that things have been much easier.

Decent customer service, needs process improvements

Pros

I like the customer service. They are always quick to respond and work hard to resolve any issues we are facing that too promptly.

Cons

There is still quite a bit of manual work and sometimes the process can be a bit hard. For example when creating a new employee, the gratuity filter has to be adjusted manually since it's not included in the default setup. Adding a new employee requires creating a job master first, then setting up the organizational structure and finally linking the employee. This same process applies to promotions and transfers. I have also come across errors with back pay when salary increments involve GOSI. Additionally although we have multiple regions, I can only download a bulk payroll file with all regions combined so I have to download it again and separate it by region. These small tasks could be improved to make the system more efficient.
