Excellent platform, easy to use and affordable

Pros

The payroll platform is a huge help. It lets you quickly figure out salaries, overtime, or absences since everything is in one spot and simple to find, which really saves a lot of time.

Cons

It would be perfect if it had a built-in time clock so everyone could just punch in and out for their shifts right there.

Development of new improvements

Pros

My favorite part is how user-friendly it is, especially in modules like Recruitment. The value it offers by covering Organizational Development, Hiring, Training, and so many other HR sub-areas is fantastic.

Cons

A few modules need work, especially the Talent section. Also they should look into better Feedback options including ways to give employees recognition. They also need to add features that let you edit, tweak or clean up evaluation questions even after the process has started. The reporting tools could be a lot more advanced as they are pretty basic right now.

Digital and participatory performance management

Pros

We brought this software on to manage our nationwide performance management, making it faster, more collaborative and giving us online reports. It's been great so far because it adapted to our organizations specific needs and made the whole process smoother for everyone involved.

Cons

The reporting feature still has room for improvement particularly the graphics and how it handles evaluations that need an extra validation step.

A great partner for people management

Pros

It is so easy to get along with. The integration with other apps is great as it's currently linked to our intranet and works perfectly. Plus you can get any info you need with just one click.

Cons

Overall I am a big fan of the software. One thing that would be great is the ability to build our own custom reports maybe a template where we could pull data from different functions to create something tailored. Also since a lot of companies use subcontractors now, adding a specific module for that would really help with internal compliance and labor law tracking.

User-friendly and comprehensive system

Pros

HCMFront is a complete system that handles most areas of people management. We can design our own custom workflows. Also it is adaptable, simple and has all the features you need.

Cons

I think there are a few areas with room for growth like benefits administration or internal comms tools. But across the board, it's a very comprehensive system.

Works wonder for us

Pros

It was a game-changer for our payroll especially since we were total beginners. We are a small company with just 8 employees and we used to outsource our payroll. After our team doubled in size, our provider wanted to significantly raise their fees, so we went looking for other options. We found HCM Front which was priced accessibly even for an SMB like us so we decided to try it. We ran it alongside the old service for the first few months and right from month one we could tell how powerful the solution was.

Cons

The payroll transfer file for the bank did not initially include all the specific data fields our bank required, so we had to adjust it manually at first. However the software's API let us download the information in the exact format we needed which totally fixed the issue.

Outstanding service with somewhat rigid details

Pros

The service level is outstanding as they have been so invested in making sure our implementation goes smoothly and successfully.

Cons

It feels a bit rigid sometimes and does not offer much wiggle room for adjusting smaller details.

Interface is simple yet useful

Pros

I am a big fan of the interface as it is very user friendly. The playful design and having everyones photos is awesome and the org chart feature works really well too.

Cons

Well it is still in its early stages and has a lot of features it needs to deliver down the road.
