I find it really easy to access and view my payroll history and info. Being able to work from my smartphone is a huge help. The wage calculations are accurate and payments hit my bank on time. Overall I have seen a much better payroll service since we switched to Heartland Payroll.

I think it would be more effective if HR staff could attend face to face training on the system and its limitations for better understanding.

The best tool from Heartland Payroll for me is the automatic payroll and wage calculations that reduce errors and ensure taxes, overtime and claims are paid correctly. Each employee has their own dashboard where they can view paystubs and payment history on their phone. For admins, it saves time and money since the vendor handles payroll so we don't need an in-house specialist.

So far all is good. The customer support is helpful and knowledgeable, assisting with system setup and direct deposit issues. The price is a bit high but the benefits are worth it.
