“Useful email reminders
Pros
Email reminders were really helpful to me. I always received quick replies and the test itself was simple with clear instructions that were easy to follow. The entire process felt trustworthy and secure. Reading through the material and the answers to potential scenarios for this position was genuinely interesting and I learned a lot from it. I'm confident this will be extremely useful for my next steps in interviews and preparation moving forward.
Cons
One thing that bothered me was seeing a message at the start suggesting a camera might be required when in fact it wasn't needed at all. I also felt uneasy about the estimated duration. It said the test could take around an hour which I found unreliable because the tasks can actually be completed much faster. That mismatch left me a bit skeptical about the timing estimate.

Pros
I've found this tool makes reference reporting much more efficient and faster than our old process.. it cuts out so many manual steps. The layout feels thoughtfully crafted and I'm really impressed by how detailed and simple the design is. Everything I need is right where it should be which makes a typically tedious task feel smooth and purposeful.
Cons
From my experience the product doesn't differentiate between colleagues and friends so it ends up asking the identical questions for both.

Cons
when I tried logging into my LinkedIn account I was confused by the process as it routed me to my LinkedIn page and then nothing further happened leaving me stuck.

Pros
What I liked was the clean user interface. The screen was so simple that I didn't have many distractions while recording video and overall it was fairly easy to use.
Cons
Submitting a video made me anxious because the upload can take quite a while and I started worrying that something was failing. It would really help to have a clear notice telling users not to refresh the page and simply wait patiently.

Pros
It is so easy to use and the way the instructions and tests were presented made everything easy to follow. I also noticed the platform ran very smoothly, pages and results loaded quickly so I didn't waste time waiting for information.
Cons
Overall I consider the platform solid. The specific test I took felt thoughtfully designed and the UX/UI was simple. One suggestion I'd pass along is adding accessibility features for people with colour blindness or dyslexia and perhaps even screen-reader compatibility for users who are blind. I'm not certain but I suspect I may have dyslexia myself so having those options would be a really helpful accommodation.

“Well structured questions
Pros
I thought the questions were really well organized and hit the mark. The cognitive ones pushed me and the technical ones felt reasonably fair.
Cons
For me the countdown clock was very distracting and I worry that applicants with anxiety could be unfairly screened out. In my view that's not right because someone who might excel in the role could fail only because they crumbled under the timed pressure.

Pros
In my experience so far I like their hiring approach. They begin with an assessment and then move to interviews which I find ideal.
Cons
The logical reasoning problems felt really tough and there was very little time to solve them. Otherwise the other sections questions were fine.

All the questions aligned well with the role and in particular the ones that revealed how I approach problems and collaborate with others felt especially relevant.
Cons
I felt fairly anxious because of the ticking clock. The time pressure had me rushing and prevented me from fully thinking through some responses. Honestly I believe I would have performed noticeably better if I'd been given just a bit more time to calmly process each question.

The things I appreciated the most was how fast and responsive was, the well-organized interface is plus the overall vibe the page gives when I use it is amazing. Feels polished and modern.
Cons
A heads-up alert when the timer falls below one minute would have been really helpful because I tend to get absorbed in reading or answering and can easily overlook the remaining time.

I love how easy to use it is. The exam questions were simple, the layout stayed uncluttered yet practical and the visible timer kept me attentive without making me panic. Overall it came across as a chance to demonstrate my skills rather than a trap-filled quiz which I really appreciated.
Cons
I did notice some multiple-choice answers were awkwardly phrased or outright inaccurate from a technical standpoint. If the wording were tightened up and the terminology particularly for programs like Photoshop were more exact I would find the assessment to be noticeably fairer and more professional.

Appreciate how smooth and convenient it felt while I went through the assessment. The layout was simple and user-friendly so I could concentrate on completing the tasks instead of wasting time trying to figure out the interface. Also the assessment's structure impressed me as it was clear, paced well and directly applicable to the Administrative Assistant position I was pursuing. Overall it delivered a polished, professional experience that left me with a positive view of both the employer and the platform as a whole.
Cons
Although my overall experience with HiPeople was largely positive, I did feel the assessment could benefit from more upfront guidance.... perhaps a short overview or a few sample questions to set expectations for candidates. It would also help if the platform showed an estimated time for each section beforehand so I could better plan my attention and pacing. Those small additions would make the process easier and help me manage my focus throughout the assessment.
