“Irish-made, easy reporting

Pros

software is really easy to use, people on our team needed very little training before they were up and running. The reporting module has been developed further so it now offers extra reports that are genuinely helpful for management reviews. On top of that, the fact that the product is produced, developed and supported in Co. Clare mattered to me because we wanted to consciously support an Irish business.

Cons

Handling annual leave settings for part-time employees can be fiddly inside this tool and we're currently waiting on a fix for that. Early on the Real Time Review function gave us a few headaches, it caused enough disruption that we decided not to roll it out across the business until the vendor completed more development work. That said we're re-testing the feature now and it already feels more user-friendly although a few anomalies still need to be explained.

system is easy to use, it includes every HR function I require and has a clean, uncluttered design.

Cons

However I'm unable to assign administrators so they only see certain pieces of information.

As a user, I think the interface is extremely approachable and everything is organized so conveniently that getting started felt effortless.

Cons

Deeper reporting capabilities would really help me create tailored analytics, along with more flexible report-building tools that make exporting data easier and more efficient for my needs.

We adopted this tool to automate our company's HR workflows across the board, handling everything from recruitment and CPD tracking to leave management, performance reviews and onboarding and our employees and managers have genuinely appreciated the convenience of having a single, centralized platform that aligns so many processes.

Cons

At times the frequent changes and enhancements can feel disorienting for me especially when it seems like we've just adapted to a new feature or layout and it gets modified again.

“great & integrated platform

Pros

Using this tool has been really easy for me. Most of the features are convenient which is a big help since we bring new users on board every month. I'm especially pleased that Hirelocker integrates with it so any candidate we hire is automatically moved into the Onboarding Office. The reports area is another plus, it keeps everything congreatated and easy to find.

Cons

An improved Time Off section would be valuable to me, particularly if it synced with Gmail so approved leave updated calendars automatically and expanding the RTR area beyond just Goals to include Competencies and Learning & Development would give me a much clearer view of performance and growth.

Pros

it's really easy to use, updates happen without fuss and accessing the controls to change admin levels is easy which makes things less hectic and more efficient for me.

Cons

Customer service could be a bit stronger in my view, while I haven't had bad experiences, support has occasionally felt a little lax when I needed timely help.

For me this app is incredibly easy to use, simple to move around and really easy to upload documents.

Overall I'm very pleased with the system but I'd appreciate a simpler way for me to jump to specific pages and a more user-friendly search, as the current navigation can feel clunky and slow.

What I love is that I can pull reports in just a few taps and it's honestly my favorite feature.

When adding a new public holiday list, it's been an issue for me that the previous year's holidays aren't visible, as that has caused confusion more than once.

Pros

We wanted a software solution that was simple to roll out but would also smooth out our HR operations. I found this tool easy to pick up and the implementation support was outstanding. The team behind this product is always reachable and genuinely willing to assist. Because of the platform, we've been able to tidy up HR workflows and foster better communication throughout the company.

Cons

Email formatting in HireLocker has been inconsistent in my experience and I've noticed it can be temperamental at times when I'm trying to communicate clearly.

Pros

it is really easy and simple to use especially for staff when they need to log annual or sick leave. I like the personal feel the tool brings and their customer support has been fantastic, consistently helpful and quick to respond whenever I've reached out.

Cons

There are two issues I find most frustrating with Hirelocker and they're primarily cosmetic rather than affecting functionality. First is how job postings show up on our company website. Even though Hirelocker lets you tweak fonts, colours and the like, I don't think the overall appearance matches our site and I'd really appreciate more control over that layout though I'm not sure whether deeper customization is available. The second annoyance is the way candidate emails display inside Hirelocker, I often get messages that look slightly misaligned or messy which makes reading them awkward. A cleaner, more consistent email layout would make a big difference for me. For now, it's my main gripe.

I've found it to be an easy-to-use software and all the features are excellent: applicant tracking, recruiting, timesheets, onboarding and more...

Cons

An improved dashboard would make it even better. That said I would still recommend it overall because the support team is very helpful.

I appreciate how it tackles complicated scenarios and helps break them down into manageable tasks, plus the storage system works really well.

Cons

The main screen interfaces could definitely use some work and aren't as user-friendly as they should be.

interface feels really easy to use, I appreciate that it doesn't try to be everything to everyone and instead focuses on doing a few key things really well.

It lacks a performance or appraisal module, I'm basically left with reminders and document storage and I would prefer richer, more insightful dashboards.
