Pros
It is a fantastic tool for our business and I find it packed with great features like advanced scheduling, distribution and dashboards. The support team has been amazing, always ready to help whenever I need assistance.
Cons
The tool is user-friendly even for people with basic computer skills. I don't really have complaints though I wish there were more options for FTP connection reports.

“Easy for report migration”
Pros
We used this tool to replace our unsupported Discoverer and I really liked how easily we could migrate all our old reports. The reporting tool feels like a big improvement, offering scheduling, distribution, sharing and full Excel 365 compatibility.
Cons
We haven't used the dashboard feature yet since it was out of scope. One issue we ran into was that the data warehouse model needs to be set up correctly, especially the joins, or it can cause problems later.

“high control with scheduling”
Pros
This was purchased as a replacement for Oracle Discoverer and we've never looked back. I appreciate the high level of control it gives us administrators to configure data domains and security so our 150 users can easily get to the data they need. The ability to schedule and distribute reports with attachments in multiple formats is probably the feature I value most and viewing the underlying SQL is a huge plus.
Cons
There isn't much negative to say overall. The only small annoyance is having to press "refresh" after submitting a report to see progress. It's not a huge problem but I wish it would auto-refresh like the Excel plug-in does. We're on an older version now, so this might have been fixed.

“Valuable Oracle EBS integration”
Pros
I believe the most valuable feature for us is the large catalog of Oracle E-Business Suite views for report building. The integration with Microsoft Excel has been especially useful for our organization.
Cons
I haven't had any issues with the tool's functionality itself.

“Quick installation and user friendly reporting”
Pros
Honestly I found the installation quick, the rollout easy and the tool itself very user-friendly. GL Connect makes my financial reporting much simpler and more accessible.
Cons
For me there aren't any prebuilt dashboards for EBS modules which is a bit limiting.

The interface is very user-friendly, offering great value for money. I can use either AD integration or EBS role-based access and run reports directly in the browser or Excel via the add-on. I appreciate the built-in reports, Oracle EBS connections and the ability to develop and move reports quickly between environments.
Cons
I think designing custom templates and forms can get a little complicated if you're not used to it.

“Easier and faster tool”
Pros
As someone with over 10 years of OBIEE experience, I have found this tool easier and faster at every level, installation, configuration, setup and administration. It even converts Discoverer on the fly which truly impressed me. As a reseller and implementer, I've used it to fix many failed OBIEE implementations. Installation is simple and easy.
Cons
If you need a BI tool, this one is worth a serious look. I'd suggest checking out all your options and doing some research before making a decision.

Pros
I found it to be a great tool for converting Oracle Discoverer reports. We converted over 100 reports in just two days with impressive accuracy, saving us many hours of debugging and testing.
Cons
The web version, I think can be a bit slow at times.

Pros
This software has empowered us to move much of the report writing from IT to the business users who actually need the data. I now see users across departments creating and running their own reports. It's rewarding to witness adoption spreading organically, one department sees another using this tool effectively and wants in too.
Cons
Navigation feels a little clunky although the latest release seems better. After upgrades, there are often a few bugs which makes me hesitant to adopt new versions quickly.

I'm not the most tech-savvy report writer but it makes creating and editing reports incredibly simple. I love having the control to build reports on my own timeline without relying on a developer. Migrating our Reporter and SQL reports into SplashBI was also easy.
Cons
Joining tables is something I still struggle with, mostly because I haven't taken the time to fully learn it.

I really like the "Layout" feature which lets me set the homepage to display edited, recently submitted, or favorite reports. It gives me quick access to the ones I run most frequently.
Cons

Pros
Using this tool is really simple and I can do more than most other tools allow. Ready-made reports are helpful but I also make my own whenever needed. Scheduling reports with tricky timelines is something I really enjoy.
Cons
Formatting reports with fonts isn't very easy though there are workarounds. I've seen a few scheduling bugs but the support team responded quickly with solutions.

Pulling data from different sources into one place has been a game-changer. I can build dashboards for management much faster and everything stays organized.
Cons
There's still no connector to access data in Essbase, even though I think it's been mentioned as a planned feature for development.
