Pros
The payroll processing is thorough and reliable. They also provide outstanding customer support through assigned, knowledgeable representatives. The HR tools are solid and easy to use. Many clients tell me the company offers premium, Fortune 500-caliber benefits and that those benefits genuinely help when recruiting new hires and keeping current staff.
Cons
There are no downsides to this software.

Pros
I find it very simple to manage and its interface makes tasks much easier to handle. All of the items I use are neatly organized and easy to reach so people aren't left hunting for information. The platform delivers a smooth experience with everything visible and in one place which makes managing HR tasks simple and efficient. I especially appreciate the payroll module, it's a major asset that manages pay-related processes in a clear, efficient manner. In general the clean, no-frills design significantly improves usability and overall operational performance and I personally see a lot of value in that. I'm highly inclined to recommend it and would rate it a 10 for how simple and well-organized it is.

I'm impressed that both the mobile app and website are convenient. I can quickly locate health insurance cards and other documents. Also, they managed to secure my small business benefits that rival what bigger firms typically provide.
Cons
It bothers me that nearly every action we take, payroll included, ends up being routed through Insperity.

Cons
Although I was convinced by the glowing claims about their exceptional service I've repeatedly experienced long delays in getting service requests handled. Issues with HR tasks that directly impact our payroll took months to fix and both the service team and sales reps have been largely unresponsive when I try to get updates.

For my company it really manages nearly every HR task we have. Whenever questions pop up they're reliably available and honestly it has eliminated the need for me to keep an entire internal HR department.
Cons
I've noticed occasional chat outages though they usually happen during hours when we wouldn't be using it so it's never really caused any real problems for us. That said I do wish there were more options and flexibility to customize the user homepage to better suit our team's needs.

I love how everything I need is visible at a glance, things like the time clock, benefits and the training modules are all easy to find. Those trainings have been especially helpful since my company is still fairly new.
Cons
There's definitely a learning curve at first but after I used it a couple of times I got the hang of using it and learned how to make the most of its features for my needs. Honestly it wasn't much of a complaint in the end.

It genuinely serves as a payroll and HR platform. The pricing for benefits wasn't too high either.
Cons
From the outset we were absolutely upfront about needing capabilities to post job openings, collect incoming applications and manage candidate screening all the way through onboarding. After a six-week back-and-forth we were finally told plainly that those features aren't part of the package. Setting them up would cost us thousands more up front plus recurring monthly fees.

One thing I really like is that the platform brings multiple services together in one unified hub.. payroll, HR, benefits, time tracking and I find it refreshingly simple to handle. Instead of switching between different tools everything I need is integrated which saves time and keeps operations running smoothly.
Cons
I'm not thrilled with how the retirement section is organized. I would like to see more tools showing projected ROI for different parts of my portfolio plus additional choices for time horizons and scenarios.

I appreciated how the team consistently kept us informed about compliance matters so we never felt surprised by regulatory changes. My team didn't have any administrative headaches while they handled our HR needs and overall it was a positive working experience.
Cons
Leaving them as our PEO was a real pain and much more difficult than I expected. I ended up having to follow up repeatedly to obtain various pieces of information which got old fast. They also wouldn't let us see our employees' FSA or HSA balances when we needed those figures and that lack of access made the transition even more frustrating.

One thing I really appreciated was being able to get hold of my representative immediately whenever I had questions or needed something resolved. They assign dedicated support staff and even give out direct phone numbers so I can just pick up the phone and talk instead of sending everything by email. I've noticed this level of hands-on accessibility isn't typical among other PEOs many of which push a self-service approach that keeps you working through portals or automated channels.
Cons
The service costs are mixed in with different service line items making it tough to figure out the actual cost. It's not cheap but you do get a higher level of customer service compared to other PEO providers.

Frankly everything is a mess. Their website feels like a poorly organized tangle of pages with no logical progression to help me complete a task. When I try to call, I'm put on hold for ages. If I somehow sit through the hour-plus queue, the person who finally answers offers no useful help.

Using this time tool is really easy for me whether I'm requesting time off or logging hours when my employer asks. I also appreciate that the platform links out to things like a 401k/IRA portfolio if I'm enrolled plus FSA/HSA accounts and community message boards along with places to upload documents (for example proof of COVID vaccination).
Cons
I understand it's meant for security but having to go through two-factor authentication and/or answer security questions every single time I access the platform gets tedious and time-consuming particularly when I just need to punch a time card, check something quickly or submit a PTO request.
