“so good it influenced my career decisions”
Pros
I absolutely adore JobAdder and would happily recommend it to any business because I find it straightforward and really easy to use. The information is presented clearly and is simple to navigate. One feature I especially value is the industry sections, I can add a ton of optional candidate details like inductions, qualifications, skills and more which makes talent searching much more effective. On a personal level, I discovered my first company was planning to stop using JA and that revelation helped me make the difficult decision to leave the organisation (along with several other problems); it was the final push I needed to hand in my resignation. When I later learned my current employer also uses JA, that helped convince me to take the job. Thank you JobAdder, I genuinely love what you do and appreciate the tool.
Cons
At a quick glance, I'd like to see any critical notes displayed next to a candidate's name so they don't get lost or overflow onto other pages when additional notes are added. Small but crucial flags are imperative for the recruitment process. For example, a visible tag like 'banned from FMG sites' would be really helpful and prevent potential issues.

Pros
I've found it incredibly straightforward to track, tag and organize all my applications. I can quickly see each candidate's current status whenever I need to. Overall it's a strong tool that adds real value and delivers an impressive experience for every applicant.
Cons
Unfortunately I can't batch-import multiple candidates into a Job Position which makes bulk hiring workflows difficult.

the software has made my life reallyt easy. it offers a wide range of features that have made tracking candidate statuses about a thousand times simpler for me. Not only does it cut down on the time recruiters spend on admin but managers can also monitor real activity easily via the reporting tab.
Cons
Although the platform was redesigned a few years back, I still find it straightforward and easy to navigate.

“straightforward hiring with room to improve”
Pros
Being a scaling business, we found JobAdder integrated smoothly with our existing infrastructure. The straightforward embed options let us present job postings under our own branding on our website, while the platform centralized applicant data and offered powerful features, including a Natural Language Processor which made searching resumes and other candidate information fast and effective.
Cons
I noticed there was a noticeable learning curve for our users and administrators when they first tried to navigate the different pages, listings and options in the system. After a period of training and hands-on use though, people became comfortable with the interface and were able to move around it with confidence.

“looked great at first, but didnt meet expectations”
Pros
I find it cheaper than competing options when we have two users or fewer, so it has been a cost-effective choice for our small team.
Cons
When we first started using the software, it turned out to be a truly terrible and painful experience for our team. We now deeply regret choosing Jobadder and even after pouring extra dollars into the highest setup tier, we're planning to switch to another ATS after only six months. My advice is to check how every feature you rely on actually behaves because it's likely to operate differently than you'd expect. There is no automation which is a big drawback. The UI feels Byzantine and the UX is poor. Some integrations are simply unavailable on certain servers and the Aircall integration doesn't work at all. The platform can be sluggish and the time cost stacks up when it's used heavily. The knowledge base is weak and reporting capabilities are disappointing.

“ideal for small teams, harder to scale affordably”
Pros
JobAdder's workflows helped our team shape and improve recruitment steps. I found it easy to use.
Cons
Unfortunately, collaborating directly with my hiring teams through the system wasn't possible. Because of that, I couldn't grant hiring managers access to the platform.

“a simple, budget-friendly ats that works”
Pros
Overall I find it covers everything a solid ATS should do while costing only a fraction of the price. It may not reach the sophistication level of Bullhorn, yet I personally prefer it over Ceipal and erecruit because it feels much cleaner. The interface isn't cluttered or overwhelming, so even when someone like me who isn't experienced with ATS tools starts using it, it's simple to pick up. It also has straightforward drag-and-drop parsing and I appreciate that the email templates actually go out formatted exactly as I set them up.
Cons
On the downside, I find it's not as configurable as some other ATS systems which limits how much I can tailor workflows. It also doesn't integrate directly with many of the bigger job boards, so posting reach feels constrained. Linking candidate profiles to client profiles and open roles isn't as straightforward as I would like and tracking progress through the hiring funnel can be confusing. Because there aren't detailed status options, I sometimes struggle to quickly tell exactly where a candidate sits in the interview process.

“well designed but setup takes patience”
Pros
For a small agency or an independent recruiter like me, this is a solid, budget-friendly ATS choice that's simple to use. I appreciated how candidate profiles were arranged, I could pull up a list of applicants, open individual profiles in a side panel and flag them for outreach. Overall I found the app's structure to be very well organized.
Cons
Although I liked parts of the platform, I found the way candidates are tagged for specific skills, degrees and similar attributes to be more cumbersome than the tag system I prefer. It bothered me that you couldn't alter certain fields in a job requisition, like the owner or the job title, without risking the loss of other information stored in the posting. Customer support was mixed in my experience: sometimes they were genuinely helpful but on other occasions they appeared to downplay issues or took several days to resolve problems or even to confirm whether our emails were being delivered which was frustrating.
