Pros

Being able to acknowledge people in other locations is a feature I really value. I also love scrolling through the activity feed and seeing all the different people getting celebrated for their work.

Cons

It bothers me that the points we have to give out to others don't carry over to the next month if we forget to use them.

Pros

The feature that lets me quickly give a public thank-you to a coworker is something I love. It is also great to be on the receiving end and have my own efforts acknowledged by others.

Cons

I think it would be fantastic to view all sections of the leaderboard right on the main dashboard without having to click through to a separate page.

This is such a fast and simple method for giving coworkers credit for their daily achievements. You can just hop into the platform and share positive feedback in a really effortless way.

Cons

At the moment I do not have any particular issues or dislikes with the platform.

What I enjoy is how Nectar really activates teamwork and collaboration. Finishing challenges and then getting that recognition and a reward is something I always look forward to.

Zero complaints here! Everything about it is excellent! I never have any problems finding my way around the app as it's super user friendly and easy for anyone to use.

Nectar HR platform is an excellent way to highlight team members who consistently put in that additional effort. It really promotes a culture of gratitude, lifts everyone's spirits and helps create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where hard work is always seen and valued.

It has been really great for our team offering a simple and useful way for us to keep in touch and celebrate our successes as a group.

I am impressed by how effortless Nectar makes it to show appreciation for employees. Also the platform is incredibly user-friendly, it promotes genuine recognition and it helps develop a stronger culture of appreciation within the team.

Cons

If I had to suggest something I would just like the platform to add even more ways to customize things down the line. It's already a solid system and expanding those personalization features would only improve it.

The spirit of teamwork that Nectar encourages is my favorite part. It always brightens my day to see a shout-out from a coworker and I know it makes them happy when I give them one. Plus they have some great challenges that reward you for the positive things you are already doing at work. The selection of gift cards is also amazing and the whole system has been very straightforward to use. The regular email reminders are helpful so I never forget to log in and participate.

Cons

My feeling is that it could really benefit from a better mobile application. The current app seems like it is just a direct mirror of the website, which results in a less-than-ideal user experience on a phone.

Having the ability to give a public shout-out to a colleague who has really stepped up with great initiative or teamwork is something I really like.

Cons

I really wish our district would allocate more points so we could recognize more of our colleagues. As only being able to give two shout-outs a month is not very effective, especially when we collaborate on big projects and you want to acknowledge everyone who contributed.

Nectar HR platform itself is user friendly and simple to navigate. Giving or receiving recognition feels seamless and takes no time at all. Plus the collection of rewards we can choose from is both extensive and genuinely appealing.

Cons

There are a few areas with limited options for customization. The reporting and analytics tools could be more powerful and detailed. Also the selection of rewards can start to feel a bit samey or restricted after a while.

The whole experience is so user-friendly and welcoming. Adding a funny GIF to make someone smile or brighten their day is my favorite part. Getting everything set up was incredibly fast too.

I'd really like it if we could earn points a little faster. Maybe instead of just one point for something, we could get one and a half.

Its simplicity is a big plus along with all the great benefits it offers. Out of everything, my absolute favorite thing is getting to acknowledge my coworkers efforts.

It is a great platform overall. One suggestion would be to introduce more challenges or rotate them out every month, so we'd have more ways to collect points.

Nectar has turned into a fundamental part of how we appreciate our staff. Talking about Nectar points is now completely normal in our office conversations and our dedicated Slack channel is constantly buzzing with new posts praising each other.

Just a couple minor gripes such as sometimes GIFs or other attachments do not transfer properly from the main website over to our Slack channel. Also when I am signing in, it asks me to verify my device way more frequently than I'd prefer.

It often feels like we do not get a sufficient amount of points to distribute, which makes it tough to pick just one person when multiple coworkers have done great work and deserve recognition.

I could not find a way to generate a report showing past recognitions which would be helpful for spotting who consistently goes above and beyond.

Nectar is simply the best. We have been using it for close to three years and what I like the most is its simplicity. My teams use it every single day without any prompting. I mean it's just become a natural part of their routine. Keeping our employees engaged is a top priority for us.

Cons

We'd prefer to have more ways to customize the platform to our needs, such as customized automatic emails and announcements for updates related to our team's points.

It gives real value to encouraging your teammates and giving kudos, because those shout-outs come with actual rewards. It is also a easy to navigate and has lots of ways to personalize the messages you send to coworkers.

Cons

Rewards that are not gift cards need an excessive number of points, making them seem almost impossible to get. Also chances to earn bonus points are rare and do not come around very often.

Nectar HR is user friendly, simple to operate and genuinely helps improve how often people give recognition across the company. The app handles tagging people, assigning points and using company hashtags really well, which are features other apps often mess up.

Cons

There are not any true cons for me it's just that at times it feels a lot like other platforms in this space. If I had to mention something it might be the absence of automated prompts to encourage shoutouts especially ones tied to specific events and the reward catalog while fairly standard could be broader.

For me the concept of earning real, useful rewards is really appealing. I think it creates a more productive workplace culture because you know that being a dedicated team member will be acknowledged and rewarded.

Cons

The social media-like aspect is not really my thing. My main issue though is the automatic posts about birthdays and work anniversaries but at least that setting can be disabled in the app itself.

I really enjoy using Nectar. It gives me a simple way to express my thanks and show appreciation for my colleagues. Also the website is easy to use and offers a good selection of gift cards and products to pick from when redeeming points.

Cons

Occasionally it is difficult to get logged back in after being automatically signed out. It would also be a nice improvement if our unused points carried over to the next month instead of expiring.

Getting points from both my bosses and teammates as a form of recognition is really enjoyable, especially since I can turn them into gift cards I will actually use!

Adding our nearby grocery stores as reward partners on it would be amazing so we could use our points to offset some of the extra expenses during the holidays.
