Pros
Nectar HR is user friendly, simple to operate and genuinely helps improve how often people give recognition across the company. The app handles tagging people, assigning points and using company hashtags really well, which are features other apps often mess up.
Cons
There are not any true cons for me it's just that at times it feels a lot like other platforms in this space. If I had to mention something it might be the absence of automated prompts to encourage shoutouts especially ones tied to specific events and the reward catalog while fairly standard could be broader.

It gives real value to encouraging your teammates and giving kudos, because those shout-outs come with actual rewards. It is also a easy to navigate and has lots of ways to personalize the messages you send to coworkers.
Cons
Rewards that are not gift cards need an excessive number of points, making them seem almost impossible to get. Also chances to earn bonus points are rare and do not come around very often.

Nectar is simply the best. We have been using it for close to three years and what I like the most is its simplicity. My teams use it every single day without any prompting. I mean it's just become a natural part of their routine. Keeping our employees engaged is a top priority for us.

We'd prefer to have more ways to customize the platform to our needs, such as customized automatic emails and announcements for updates related to our team's points.
