“best tool for payroll”
Pros
Payroll processing and accrual tracking is so easy. It really simplifies everything and saves a ton of time. I don't have to stress over calculations or spreadsheets anymore. It just handles it all smoothly and accurately.
Cons
Some of the reports generated just don't quite meet my needs. I've had to make some adjustments to get the data I need.

“smooth implementation overall”
Pros
The implementation team really worked hard to get us live. We have so many rules and policies but they managed to incorporate them all into our platform. Now that we are up and running the team is always quick to address any issues or questions that pop up.
Cons
We have run into some limitations due to Workforce Ready rules but thankfully team has helped us find workarounds that work for us.

Pros
Interface and reporting features are fantastic. Susan G. our rep is awesome! She's always there when something comes up and she provides quick, practical solutions. Honestly the software is pretty flexible and it does exactly what we need.
Cons
The timeout feature that logs me off after 15 minutes of inactivity is annoying. It can be frustrating when I'm in the middle of something and get kicked out.

Pros
support from this tool definitely my favorite part. The HRIS team is so responsive...they'll jump on a video call whenever I need them. The payroll team is super quick and the tax team really helped us figure out all the taxes we need to be set up for and keeps us informed about new ones. With employees in 29 states this has really saved my sanity. We used to be with ADP but having a dedicated team for support has been a total game changer. They are not just reliable, they're friendly too!
Cons
constant updates can be confusing sometimes but the support team is always there to get me back on track.

Pros
Customer service is outstanding. Whenever I need help our reps are right there, no waiting around. They are always ready to assist and really made our training and onboarding experience feel personal. The website is a dream to use...you can make any custom report you want with just a click. Payroll is simple, smooth and quick with little room for mistakes.
Cons
Ongoing training has been a challenge. We have a new HR employee and she's struggled to learn the system. Finding training videos without having to pay for extra sessions has been difficult. Also the security feature of entering a code every 7 days for employees is a bit much. We have employees who don't even have cell phones, so it's pretty inconvenient.

Pros
What I love most about this tool is how fast I can process payroll. It takes me less than half the time it did with our old company. The process is so simple and if anything goes wrong, it's team is always there to help.
Cons
Only downside is that it can be hard to get someone on the phone. However the staff always responds quickly once you reach them.

My account rep is always so responsive and helpful. I really appreciate how they are always willing to assist whenever I need anything.
Cons
Reports are not very helpful to me so I often end up creating my own. Also a lot of the time our teammates get an error message saying "account information invalid" even though their username and password are correct.

I really like the feature where I can import the worksheet. Once it's done I can easily check all my totals which is super handy.
Cons
Trying to get the same reports I used to use has been confusing. We are still trying to get used to the new reporting system.

I find the customer service fantastic! The whole team especially Sue is reliable and always goes above and beyond. They are clear with instructions, resolve issues quickly and always make sure checks arrive on time.
Cons

Pros
As a small business with pretty complicated reporting needs we have got under 50 employees spread across ten states and it has been great at creating processes and reports that fit our unique requirements. I'm really impressed that we have dedicated customer service reps, something I have not experienced with other companies especially with our small size. I'm listed as the admin (since I can only pick one category) but I'm also the primary user of the system.
Cons
There are some errors in the reports and changes I need made but UKG has not prioritized them. This is the only time I've noticed a lack of communication and regular updates.

“very frustrating pto system”
Pros
The ability to customize reports is fantastic. There was so much hands-on help when we were getting set up and all of our questions were answered. Even though we only use it for payroll every other week the process is super easy.
Cons
Our PTO accruals still are not set up correctly even after multiple attempts to fix the issues. We've had meetings with the VP of Customer Service but our PTO balances are still off which is really frustrating.
