“time-saving scheduling win”
Pros
This has saved our recruiting team a huge amount of time with calendaring and scheduling and the analytics clearly back that up. The team genuinely enjoys using Rooster and renewing it was an obvious decision for us.
Cons
Since I mainly use it as an admin I feel like I have the tools I need. There was a time when user management was limited and I couldn't delete a user myself but they rolled out that feature pretty quickly.

“Efficient scheduling and flexible templates”
Pros
Rooster has been very helpful for scheduling interviews accurately and efficiently. I really appreciate being able to set up multiple interviews and use different templates depending on the situation which makes the process much more organized.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is the option to schedule interviews at different times on the same day under a single invite, without having to add breaks in between. That would make things much simpler for candidates since they could accept one interview schedule instead of receiving separate invites for something like 8am, 11am and 4pm.

“fast scheduling automation”
Pros
Getting schedules in place with this has been very simple. It's simple to set up, easy to work with and once the back-end is configured, it mostly comes down to clicking a button to keep things moving and automate most of the scheduling workflow.
Cons
Because it's still a fairly new product, there are a few bugs here and there. That said the team responds quickly, fixes issues fast and keeps everything on track. I really don't have any major complaints.

“all interviews neatly visible”
Pros
Having everything visible across the HR team has been a big plus. Each candidate's interviews are laid out together on one screen so there's no need to dig through endless email threads to figure out what's happening.
Cons
I was really glad when spell check was added and I'd still love to see grammar support included too. Outlook remains an important part of the process because Rooster's calendar only shows whether someone is busy or free, without any context. For instance, if an employee marks their calendar as working offsite, Rooster just reads that as busy. Because of that, I still have to build the schedule in Outlook first and then move over to Rooster to put it in place.

“Faster scheduling with smart integrations”
Pros
Scheduling with Rooster is much quicker and more convenient than the manual process we were using before. I really appreciate how everything connects in one place, pulling details from our organization's calendars, Workday and Zoom. Once my holds are in place, I can call candidates and send confirmation emails to both the interview panel and the candidates within minutes. I've genuinely enjoyed using it and it feels very simple and easy to navigate.
Cons
The hardest part was handling some of the setup logistics at the beginning, like getting templates and Zoom accounts prepared so multiple users could use them properly. We also ran into some initial issues with Zoom's Alternate Host feature inside Rooster but with help from their support team we found a fix and were able to keep scheduling without problems. After you get familiar with the system, the process is pretty simple.

“Quicker scheduling and useful analytics”
Pros
Rooster has made our interview scheduling process much more efficient. It has had a big impact overall.. we now have analytics for both schedulers and interviewers, scheduling happens much faster and backup coverage is handled smoothly. There are also plenty of ways to use the platform so each person can follow a slightly different workflow and still reach the same outcome. Our team especially appreciates the request availability feature because it saves us a lot of time. Rooster has worked really well for both executive-level scheduling and high-volume scheduling.
Cons
The platform offers a lot of customization options and during implementation since we were one of the first clients, we had the chance to adjust and tailor many things. The team we worked with was amazing. Now that we're live and there are more clients on the platform, new requests have to be submitted and added to the roadmap which is totally understandable but it does mean future changes can take longer. That said whenever issues come up, the support team is usually very quick to find a solution, fix the problem, or offer a workaround.
